Expired 2003-04 Cobra IRS axles complete

I have two complete axle shafts from a low mileage (14k) '03 Cobra. All cv joints and boots are in good condition. The outer hubs and wheel studs are also included. These 31 spline axles are a direct replacement for '03-'04 Cobras and an upgrade for '01 Cobras. They will not fit '99's unless the...

    Is factory h-pipe stainless?

Thanks everyone, I figured it probly wasn't but I took it off after 19 years and its got some surface type rust but nothing serious. Maybe because that part of the exhaust runs so hot and it seems like pretty thick tubing.

    Is factory h-pipe stainless?

Hey, does anyone know if the factory h-pipe is stainless? It is magnetic but I've read that doesn't always mean it's not stainless.

    2001 Cobra value

Thanks. I'm thinking it's a pretty good buy. I've looked it over pretty good and can't find any signs of damage. He had the front resprayed a couple years ago for rock chips but I can't see the blend, it looks good. It's black.

    2001 Cobra value

Just wondering what you think the value is of an '01 cobra w/73 k miles. It looks very clean with good paint and straight body. Sounds good and is a one owner. The guy is asking 12k firm and I'm really interested. It's got a damn stiff clutch but I figure I can check the quadrant and change the...

    Liquid filled gauge refill?

Thanks Jrichker, I had wondered about glycerin but wasn't sure if it would work. Definitely a gude lubricant for moving parts in there. I took the guage face off and reinstalled with some rtv between the lens and body. We'll see if it leaks. If not I guess I'll have to buy a new one. Anyone...

    Liquid filled gauge refill?

Thanks Thanks man. I'll give it a try. I did a search but couldn't find any info. I may have to try and get the face off to adjust that rubber seal but I'll fill it first and see if it leaks.

    Liquid filled gauge refill?

I just bought a fpr and BBk gauge from a guy off Corral. When I got it, the gauge was empty and I believe it's supposed to be liquid filled. It looks like the rubber gasket isn't lined up under the glass face. Am I sol? or can this be fixed. I contacted the seller and he "doesn't remember" it...

    ASP overdrive alt pulley

I have been having charging trouble with my underdrive pulleys. At night, everything would dim at idle. I just installed a 1 7/8" overdrive pulley from ASP. It's charging fully at 700rpm idle now. I went with the 89.5" belt and it's perfect size w/AC.

Dragstrip results from 2.73's to 3.73's

Hey, thought some of you might be interested in my gear change results at the strip. It wasn't a cheap mod but I think it paid off. w/2.73's 16.01 @ 87 mph w/3.73's 14.52 @ 96 mph (best run, others in high 14's) with similiar track conditions. Now if I can get a new valve body so I...

    Top End Cleaner/Seafoam--Opinions?

I'm not familiar with seafoam but I just ran some "top end cleaner" made by GM through my v6 Taurus that was pinging even on good gas. A lot of smoke and pinging got worse for a bit but now seems to have went away. It said to shut down the "AIR" system if equipped but if I'm right, this is the...

    adjusting the tv cable

The correct way to do it is using a pressure gauge to check the line pressure on the tranny. However on mine, I undid the clip with shifter in park and throttle closed then just took the slack out of the cable and reattached. The shifts were too early and soft, meaning low line pressure <very...

    Thanks Krazy Koncepts!

Just wanted to give a big thanks to Paul at Krazy Koncepts :nice: who installed my 3.73's and rebuilt my trac loc last week. It turned out great and made quite a difference. I won't quote a price since those things can change but it was very fair. I highly recommend them.

For those who remember Cassini from the Bothell Burgermaster

That website is hillarious. As Joycelin Elders used to say, it's for the childrun. Unfortunately Lamrith is probly right, we'll rehabilitate him and he'll probly be out some day driving a lambo. Still not worth the prison time though!

    H-pipe clearance question, draggin...

Thanks guys, I was hoping an off road pipe would give me more clearance and pwr! I creep over the bumps but my cats still hit sometimes. The bummer is the previous owner had the aftmkt cat back welded to the factory h-pipe so I'll prbly want to get a whole new set up so it's bolted together.

    H-pipe clearance question, draggin...

Hey, searched and read a ton of threads but couldn't find the answer. I've got an '89 LX eibach pro kit and a stock h-pipe. I drag the damn convertors over speed bumps. I want to get an off road h-pipe and need to know if it'll give me more clearance or less. Threads seem to indicate X-pipes sit...

    Help with 3G alternator

Yeah Sleeper I run ASP pulleys. I swapped the stock 3g for my ASP which is slightly smaller and it seemed to help a bit at idle. I think I'll be ok it I edge up the idle a bit.
