Thinking about selling my project car, pricing?

Hey guys I gave up on my 1973 mach 1, it needs too much body work and I cant do body work, im a beginner and it turned into too big a project for me. Its a real 1973 mach 1, has a 1970 351c 2bbl with a FMX tranny which I pulled. It has the Boss guage package, center console, A/C, front power...

Thought I had a new car tonight...

Ya thanks, Numbers matching isn't important to me, i'd like to have a built big block or a 351c. If the car had front disc and a ford 9in rear i'd really be upset about loosing. I just want something that looks good and has some power to it. I think that engine stock was rated at 340Hp...

Thought I had a new car tonight...

Thanks guys, I feared the 8in rear would be torn up by the 429 and the manual drums would not stop me too well. I do have a 9in and front power disc's I could have used from a 73' though. But I seen a few other cars that interest me. If any of you guys know anyone selling a restored 69' or...

    1969 fastback question.

Thanks guys, thats what I thought, its not a BOSS 429, just a regular 429. I know even my 351c in my 73' middle plugs weren't as easy as I was expecting to reach. Its them huge ford shock towers. Jim

    About to buy a 68 Shelby GT500

I seen a deal on a 69' Boss 302? I think it was, a few days ago on E-bay for like 3k or some really low price for a "mint" car. I E-mailed the buyer and said i'd buy it if I could come and look at it first but he was conveniently located in England. I knew it was a scam which is why I asked to...

    Break out the strippers baby!!

I have a big angle grinder and a 6in wire wheel for it, It is hard to control but will get me down to bare metal in a matter of seconds and covers alot of ground. For the undercoating in the fender wells I used aircraft stripper in several applications but a hammer and scraper worked even...

Getting my car ready to paint but.......

I cant seem to get the rear bumper off and the window molding above the doors. The Haynes doesn't help much, it says undo the 4 bolts in the trunk for the bumper, the only bolts I seen were small ones that I undid but it did not loosen the bumper. Anyone ever take theirs off? Also the chrome...
