    My seat broke today

Yep. My power seat bracket broke as well. A manual track from any 79 and up mustang will work. I used a manual track from an 86 at the local wrecker. It fit perfectly and was only $5.00 !!

Car runs like chit all the sudden????

1st thing to do in your situation is check for any computer error codes. Something changed suddenly which could throw a code.

    Dino vs Synthetic Oil

I do recall reading similar claims.......can't remember where. Anything that I've read recently though, states you should stick with the manufacturer's recommended intervals. (which can be 5000 miles or more on some vehicles!)

    Dino vs Synthetic Oil

AHHHHHH. Now your jumping to conclusions. I've never stated that one should not change synthetic oil at regular 3000 mile intervals. As far as I know, Amsoil is the only product that says you can go more than the manufacturer's recommended interval. Cheers

Bad Idle surge problems, also Idle down

First of all, set your base idle speed as detailed above. Next, your idle trim screw may not be adjusted correctly. (not to be confused with the throttle plate set screw). The idle trim screw is the one under the little rubber plug beside the IAB valve. Try turning the screw in all the way...

    Dino vs Synthetic Oil

Yes you did. YES! That's what reducing wear engine wear means!!!! To repeat myself for the umpteenth time, the majority of engine wear occurs on the first cold start of the day. That's rich, you calling me childish! I wouldn't call what you're doing "debating". More like...

    Dino vs Synthetic Oil

Sorry to the others reading this thread if I sound frustrated by this person. I find it difficult to believe that someone ignores the facts when they are presented plainly to them. Show me one study/experiment/aritcle that says regular mineral oil is better than synthetic oil in ANY way...

    Dino vs Synthetic Oil

 Now you're just being difficult! :) Ref the pour point chart.....you mean like this right; http://www.lubes-n-filters.com/newsletters/compare-motor-oils.html http://www.lubes-n-filters.com/newsletters/graphics/pourpoint_lrg.gif Ref the leaks.........If an old car had a newer...

    Dino vs Synthetic Oil

I highly doubt you could make a study that shows Pep boys 5w30 is better than Mobil1. In fact, I would be willing to bet you on that one. Comparing seals is ridiculous. While you're at it, why don't you try and find a study showing which valve cover gasket last longer when using synthetic...

    Dino vs Synthetic Oil

Another site with exellent info for those of you who aren't tired of reading about motor oil yet! :) http://www.vtr.org/maintain/oil-overview.html Cheers

    Dino vs Synthetic Oil

Actually its not. There have been many well documented studies proving the value of synthetics over regular oil. Including older engines. Do your own search of the www and you'll see what I mean. Cheers

    Dino vs Synthetic Oil

You're right. It depends on your definition of "creates". After re-reading it, "Creates" probably isn't the right word in this case. None the less. Leaks do have a tendancy to appear after switching to synthetics on a higher mileage motor. Ref "thinness" of the synthetic oil. I'm not...

    Dino vs Synthetic Oil

I'm going to repeat a few things that others have said earlier and throw my $.02 in here. Synthetics have 2 main advantages over regular dino oil; 1) Temperature protection.....both hot and cold. On cold starts, its been laboratory proven that synthetics flow MUCH quicker than regular oil...

is it missing or something else?

I wouldn't rule the TFI out. They don't always fail 100%. Read the following thread from the Corral; http://www.corral.net/forums/showthread.php?t=570660 Here's a quote from that thread; Cheers

    Snapped Rear Sway bar?

The newer V6 cars don't have them. I drove my Gt around for a while without it installed. Didn't notice anything really terrible. The car did seem to lean a bit more in corners. After I installed the t-bird sway bar, the car turned a bit flatter. Have a look at the following link for more...

    Snapped Rear Sway bar?

Yep. I had to replace mine too. I went to the local pick-your-part and found a rear sway bar from an 86 T-bird Turbo coupe. It was a tiny bit smaller in diameter than the stock 95....so not quite as stiff, but it was also only $5 and fit perfectly!! :nice: I havn't noticed any difference in...

    replacing my fuel pressure regulator

Yeah, I would replace it if it seems loose. That hose is connected to the PCV valve at the back of your lower intake. The oil you see is coming up through the pcv valve from the crankcase. A little bit is normal. (you wouldn't normally see it if the hose wasn't loose)

Symptons of a Blown Head Gasket?!?!?! JR!!!!

Just wondering if you're dealing with two different problems here. Since your plugs fouled in a very short time, you are obviously running really rich which could make the car hard to start and will make it run like crap. I would check your fuel pressure to make sure your FPR isn't causing...
