I am having a problem with my fairly new clutch slipping. My mech called spec to try and get a replacement. They are giving him all sorts of excusses IE I'm doing burnouts, drag racing, etc... so they won't do anything. Its a daily driver and I don't do any of the things he's accused me of...

As I said in my post, its a daily driver. I don't do burnouts, the shop had the flywheel turned so thats not an issue. The people at spec are giving my mech crap saying I probably abused the clutch yadayada. Basically blaming everyone else except his crapy product. So he doesn't want to stand...

I had a similar situation recently, I was just pulling out of my driveway and the car just sputtered and died. Checked everything couldn't find S... It ened up being the internal bearing in the distributor gave out. Didn't find it till I pulled the cap of and looked very carefully and spotted...

Just FYI we did not ask for bonuses. They are dangling a carrot in front of the people called back from layoffs. Four 4000 of them; they needed 6100 to get the contract voted in they failed. Here is a link to the proposal so you can see the kind of S... they try to pull and the public doesn't...
