I just got Lt's today and a catted h pipe. Sounds great, but I don't know about a tune. I asked the guy who dune my car and he said it didn't need one.
Check this site out http://www.highperformancetoys.com/forum/index.php It is a local site with most members from Knox and Blount Co's. Some very good peeps there. I post as JrFan8 there. Check it out is good site.
I have that kit just put it on last weekend. I can tell ya it makes the stang look great, and the handling also improved. U can't go wrong with it. :nice: :nice:
Great to hear that. I will have to check those out. I was looking at some catalogs from Bro's Performace and Dallas Mustang and all the LT's they had said for 5 speed only. Thats why I didn't think I could LT's for an auto.
Not to mention the LT's have a wicked sound also. I love the way they sound but I can't use them because I have an auto or so I am told. I wish I could because I have a friend that has Lt's an Dr Gas X and Flows. It just makes me wet my pants when I here it.
That is at the flywheel 240 for stock. So if its an auto it will probally be 20% less and a 5 speed about 10 to 15% less. But someone will correct me if I am wrong. Still you should have some good numbers.
Is there any place in the Knoxville, TN area that I go to a dyno? Also how much for the runs and can they tune my car? Mods are in my sig. I am just wanting to see where I am at. I know its not much but at least I will have a starting point. Thanks.
Well if I am wrong and I probally will be. Someone here will correct me. I think a foxbody mustang is an mid 80's mustang you know the box shaped one. As for ya other question I don't know.
