    First thing I did for suspension was springs + shocks/struts -- the bonus for me there was I could increase handling as well as getting rid of the hideous stock ride height. Now I can move on to the purely performance oriented suspension mods. But hey, that's me :shrug:

    Knock on startup -- problem?

    Thanks for the info, guys...but none of those seem to apply to me... Mostly because I seem to only have the problem on a warm engine (and even the cold start rattle didn't seem to have a resolution). Anybody else have info or share in the problem?

    Occasionally when I start my engine, it will knock once or so as it initially fires. Is this pretty common, or is it an indicator of an underlying problem?

    Both are a quality piece, and I'm very happy w/ my Magnaflow X, but one advantage that the SLP piece has is that it can be configured for cats or no cats, or for LT headers (all bolt-on conversions). That's one feature I wish mine had...

    4.10 Gear videos in daily driving

    Just wanted to add my 2¢ in here - just got my 4.10s installed last week. Love 'em! I took a road trip this weekend and still got almost 27mpg on the highway, and of course it really rips in the lower gears now. Plus the fact that I can actually accelerate (even up a hill) in 5th gear rocks...
