Progress Thread Fire Hazard GT build: On the road

I know exactly how you feel. My big issue is no garage. I finally have a decent job now so I can't complain about working 6 days a week anymore. I am hoping once the weather gets good to get going again. Sent from my Amazon Kindle Fire using Tapatalk HD

Whats effect of E10 Gasoline on Foxbody fuel system

I havent seen any issues with fuel injection, but i know it causes issues with carbs. The spring after we started it here in MA my fathers motorcycle wouldn't run right. We called a local place and they said it was the carb and they had almost a month wait with all the streetbikes having issues...

    fox pedal assembly

I forget since it was a few years ago, the one for the 95 was bigger, and I think the way the clutch pedal was set up was different.

    fox pedal assembly

The pedal assemblies themselves are different. I found this out when I was converting my 1995 gt to 5-speed.

Can you review my new site?

I made a mustang forum for some of my friends and I. We live mostly in Southeastern MA, or New Hampshire. The site is www.southshorestangs.com. If anyone has any advice for the site let me know. Thanks for any suggestions.

    five speed

The 95 GT tranny is a little longer. I believe its the input shaft and bellhousing thats different. When i put an older t-5 in my old 1995 GT i had to get a drive shaft spacer because it was shorter.

Car not starting after throw out bearing install

I put a throw out bearing in my 1990 lx, and now it wont turn over with the key. It will start if it is pop started though. One of my friends broke the speedo cable where it mounts in the transmission. Could that be the problem? When i turn the key in the on position the fuel pump does come on.

    No Heat

    No Heat

is there a way to test if you have a vacuum leak? or just try and follow the lines and check them?

    No Heat

With the snow the other day the driveway had to be plowed so i started up and moved the car for the first time in a little while. Its a 1990 lx with gt-40 intake as the only mod. The car started right up and warmed up to temp by the stock gauge. Everything was fine until i got in it to move it...

    cooling issues

The problem is fixed. I think it was air in the system. I drove the car down the street to a friends and it was running hot. He opened the radiator cap and it overflowed since the car was hot. Then you could hear air coming out. I put some more coolant in andnow the car is runningnice and cool...

    cooling issues

I have a 1990 lx that is mostly stock other than gt-40 intake and underdrive pulleys. the entire cooling system and fan is stock. All summer when i have been driving when the car first warms up it gets really hot, going by the stock gauge. then it would cool and run at normal temps the rest of...

    Winter project

Well i haven't updated this in a while, but i got a few more things done. Put the caster/camber plates on, GT-40 intake, new T/B. Found my old Tweecer R/T i had in my 1995, so once i get a wideband that will be going on. Also finally got some rear lowering springs, so it will level the car out...

Photo Request: Lower Intake RTV Application

I never use the front and back gaskets, always just rtv them. I have done and helped with many many intakes and this always seems to work the best.
