    He'd benefit from a 3" exhaust if he put a forced induction on it later on down the road. Otherwise N/A, you little K&N air filter won't be able to suck in enough air to facilitate a 3" exhaust.

    Nooo, what I'm saying is that it doesn't look like it is possible/practicle to have turn downs on an 05 since the muffler placement is naturally past the rear axle.

    I know the kaenen/steeda hood has been touched upon quite frequently. No one has really mentioned the weight difference though. Is it lighter than the stock hood on my 03 GT? Right now I'm into weight reduction and looking at a new cowl hood. Any input would be much appreciated.

    honestly, look into spintech. they are the most under rated exhaust company. spin tech does mufflers while dr. gas does the x pipe, same company. the mufflers have excellent flow and when matched with the dr. gas xpipe, you have the most bad ass sound in the world. plus the dr. gas O/R x-pipe...

    BBK L/T and O/R H Question

    I think Hooker LT headers are designed to avoid the transmission so access to it is easy. BBKs LTs cover the transmission requiring you to remove the headers in order to get to the transmission. Check out Hooker, they might work on your auto.

    could it be the battery located on the driver side? you can have it relocated to the trunk with a kit, this helps out your balance as well. you won't do that nose dive when you brake or shift gears, just one smooth ride. just a thought.

    Anyone else out there got anymore info or is that it? 1200 degree paint from walmart and a light sanding of the surface.

    So sanding the surface of the aluminum would be good prior to putting on the paint? Also, would I need to put a base coat of primer on there, is that necessary?
