    Please Post Your Gas Mileage

Sitting at a red light the other day a V6 pulled up to me and the driver asked what my MPG was... he about barfed when I told him. I'm averaging 23mpg since I got the car (city, granted not as congested of a city as a lot of you guys) and as high as 26 full highway. I'm getting a little less...

    Awesome, thanks for the replies.

    Plug Wires

At what point did Ford start going with the plug wires that are apart of a larger wiring harness? I first noticed it on my '06 Focus, and again on my '09 GT. Is this style better than a more traditional type of plug wire setup? How exactly would you go about changing the wires... or can you even?

What can I use to remove the rear bumper insert stickers?

Goo Gone is. I've used it numerous times to get stickers off. I just give the area a light washing when done.

    Cloth Top Water Repellance

Just a quick question on convertible cloth tops. How much water repelling capabilities should they have? Should they make water bead up? My '09 doesn't doesn't really make the water bead at all... it seems too new to already have to use a product on though. I have a couple of cans of...

    Differential Fill Plug

I'm getting a good price on 3.73s with a locker in the stock housing... my bearings on the other hand....:fairyfight:

    Differential Fill Plug

Is it absolutely necessary to go with an 8.8" rear if you want to go to 373s? I can understand going to a beefier setup if you are really going to be adding some major power, but what if you aren't?

Paint and dent repair- Suggestions? ""Houston people""

Is it purely getting a dent out or is there any repainting involved? If paint is involved then yes it will be quite expensive. I've seen a couple places that claim to do dent removal for $50-$75 per dent.

    Differential Fill Plug

Yes I am using a 1/2" drive. No one has ever touched back there. My initial plan was to check the level, and then remove the housing and replace all of the fluid, but if I can't access the fill plug then there is no way to do that! I took it to a shop on saturday, test drove it with a...

    Differential Fill Plug

This mother #%(&#$ won't budge. I've tried blaster and other lubricants on it and it will not come loose. Any one have an idea on how I can get this thing loose? My differential needs more oil or it'll rip itself apart. Thanks

Carolina Dyno-Day @ Big Wood Racing, Saturday March 28th

Tank, Do u work for Big Wood Racing? I'm possibly looking for a shop in or near Raleigh that can handle a rear axle and gear swap. I'm trying to figure out what is screwed up back there first and then I'll crunch the numbers to see if I am better off just swapping or trying to repair everything.

Sold the Mustang, got a sports car.

I always find it quite humorous when someone tries to compare a vehicle that was priced at $19k with one that was priced at $30k+. Maybe the fact that it is a tiny little matchbox car is why you enjoy the suspension, cornering, etc.

    DIN Storage Container

I may actually fab up a metal plate and mount some small gauges to it instead of trying to find a plastic storage container. I haven't decided yet, will probably be a lot of work...

    Worst products you ever used.

Dupont Teflon Wax. May have been my particular bottle, but this stuff was absolute garbage... nearly impossible to get it off the car, even with a buffer.

    Pinging ...ugh

Going to have to disagree with you on this. I replaced my valve cover with the new model ('01+) and my pinging went away completely and has not come back. An inline oil catch is just a poor man's temporary fix. I went that route before I actually got the new valve cover. It did a good job...
