I love the new body style, but I think Roush went a bit overboard with theirs. In all its a beautyful car but it could use some remodeling.

when I had my 98 I had a Mac o/r h-pipe with american thunder flows and it sounded awsome. I didn't have any tailpipes, dumps after the mufflers. I got a lot of interior sound but it sounded awsome. A lot of people thought it sounded really good for a v6.

i think the 94-95 5.0's were the only ones that had to STB in it. I would say get one, would help make the front a bit stiffer. They dont cost to much. Usually you can find the 94-98 ones on ebay for 50 or 60 bucks.

You should check out 3.8mustang.com. There is a member there that builds custom turbo set ups, Justin00V6. He is running a all custom built (he did all the work himself) twin turbo set up on his 2000V6 with a stock motor and internals and ran a 11.965 at 12psi 113.19 MPH. Not bad for a v6...
