Evintho,
This is an amazing design. I've been thinking of making something like this for years, but wasn't sure how to stop the tank from wobbling on the jack. I though of collapsible legs. This is much better.

Supercharger
One other cause of a surging idle that may have already been addressed (I didn't read every post of the past 5 pages) is one that afflicts supercharger owners.
After installing your Vortech you may find that the engine won't idle correctly. If you are able to rule out the other...
Kinda Close
Westchester County here. I was up in Rockland yesterday, visiting a friend in Havestraw. I drove by this place called The Paddock along 9W.
I saw this beautiful Saleen outside (at least it looked like a Saleen). I also saw a sign that said they have a dyno. Have you heard...
Mustang Magic
I believe you've got the video of Joe's '03 Cobra. I think its a Kenne Bell, but you could contact Joe for the details.

Joe has since sold his 600+ rwhp Cobra and picked up an '05 GT. :D
What's the difference
First of all I think all the top names are pretty much the same. I've got the Hurst Competion Plus shifter and it works great. I spent $120 on a sale. Why spend $225?
The Google Man sucks, He looks like the President and drives rice. If you click on the link to the bottom of the posts, there he is - with no relevant input.
I agree with the sleeper - set up a goal. If you plan more for the car, get the right injectors now. BTW 19s are too small for what you have now. :nice:
.thanks for paying attetion, ill be sure to block you from IM since you everything I tell you goes in one ear and out the other.
Bwahahahh. :rlaugh: That's funny. Great link too!
On the Edge
I've heard that at about 500 rwhp you're maxing out the stock block. But I agree with what's been said above - it depends on the quality of the block you have. It also depends on how hard you are on the car. I don't think that a strip car with a stock bottom end that calls up the...
This is like asking what's the best flavor in ice cream.
My opinion (as a Vortech owner) is that there are four excellent makers of superchargers for the 5.0: Vortech, Paxton, Procharger and Kenne Bell. All make great street kits. Just take your pick.
Easy
I'm not aware of any metal clips on these taillights. I believe they're fastened by studs that are to be inserted through holes in the body and snugged down with nuts.
The butyl material is the sealer that seals the lens to the light housing (frame). It is like a rubber cualking. No...
A Pipe
I don't know. Maybe me's got to learn something here. A TB is a pipe with a gate valve. No rocket science here. How do two throttle bodies of the same diameter flow differently - different plates maybe? I don't see how this makes a significant difference.
The machining is nice to...
A OK
I honestly don't believe there are significant differences between the manufacturers. I owned a BBK 70 mm TB and upgraded to a 75 mm Accufab. They both did their job. BTW my Accufab is bolted to a Edelbrock EFI (1st generation).
:D
Just tried it. Worked fine for me - I'm using Internet Explorer.
Maryland, that's the way my Mustang looked when it was new, LOL :nice:
What year is it and how did you get the photo to appear in your post?
Keepin' it stock looking
Removed the caps, but I like it that way.

I can't improve upon the above responses, because they're right on. But I do want to thank you for your service to our country. Be safe and get home to kick ass in your Mustang.
Bet you don't see too many 5.0s in Iraq. LOL
