    Electric Power Steering Upgrade

Dan, I don't think I have touched the potentiometer since the installation. It has been in for over a year with no problem at all. I have it set for max assist. It is a little hard to turn when stopped but has a good feel when driving. I went with EPAS because I got really tired of leaking...

    Electric Power Steering Upgrade

Yes, it's the TCP manual rack. There is no point in buying a power rack if you are going with the EPAS.

    Electric Power Steering Upgrade

I have about a thousand miles with the new EPAS steering and am very pleased with it. There have been no problems. It is very important to fabricate a bracket to prevent the EPAS unit from rotating on the column. This is NOT supplied with the unit nor is the need for it mentioned in the...

    Turn Signal Switch

The switch in my Ididit is identical to the switch in the factory column. They are likely from the same manufacturer. GM switches tend to use ribbon cable while the Ford has individual wires.

    Electric Power Steering Upgrade

I am in process with the same thing on my 65 Convertible except that I went with the EPAS unit which seems a little smaller and the control unit is separate. I also went with and Ididit chrome tilt column so after fitting I had to send it back to Ididit for reassembly. I hope to get it back...

    Aod Shift Bezel

I am preparing to swap the C4 in my 65 Convertible for a 91 Mustang AOD. Does anyone make a shift bezel for the 65 that will line up with the AOD shift positions?

    Tranny Cooler

Does having it in front of the radiator affect engine temp?

    Tranny Cooler

The transmission people I talked with recommend running the fluid through the radiator before going to a cooler. The plan is to run the hard line to the radiator with a rubber line out of the radiator to the cooler and a hard line back to the AOD.

    Tranny Cooler

I am planning to convert my 65 Vert from a C4 to a 91 Mustang AOD this winter. I want to add a trans cooler but not sure where to put it. Does someone want to tell me where to stick it? ;)

    Manual Rack?

I don't want to hijack your thread, Rob, but I am thinking of doing the same thing and was wondering what is the preferred unit? I've heard good things about TCP.

    Trunk Ideas Wanted

I am over the hill (67). I have 360 watts running the passenger compartment speakers and 240 watts on the sub woofer. It's not a big thumper but puts out a great sound for cruising, especially with the top down. The panels are plywood with sheet metal for the curves. Side and rear panels are...

Does anyone sell a chrome or polished hood latch for a 65? I checked all of the suppliers I can think of with no luck.

    Interesting Problem

Problem solved! The wiring harness connector that slides over the bulb housing was not making good contact thus creating a high resistance ground. This resulted in current bleeding through the other filaments in the 1157 bulb and turning on the dash lights.
