    Torque settings for strut rod

Hey guys...just getting my stang back on the road after a couple years now, and I need the torque setting for the front of the strut rod where it attaches to the frame, and where the rubber bushings are. My factory manual tells me the torque to the control arm, but not for the front(or they...

    Recommendations for jumpy suspension?

No, they're curved to match the UCA....that thought crossed my head too so I double checked them to make sure. Any easy/good way to check ball joints to see if they're good?

    Recommendations for jumpy suspension?

Well at least part of my problem is completely shot spring perch bushings you can see pics of that and the tire wear on this thread http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=749999 but there may be other things - possible worn ball joint(s) and a case of bumpsteer. But I do believe it was...

a-ha! Found the noise in my suspension!

tire wear also, heres a pic of how the front tires wore within just a few thousand miles. I definitely don't want to buy tires that often. What should I do to make sure this type of wear doesn't happen again, a good alignment after replacing the spring perches/or bushings are already in the...

a-ha! Found the noise in my suspension!

Don't know how I missed this when I pulled the wheels off about 6 months ago, but the spring perch bushings are completely shot, think I may go ahead with some roller perches, and replace the springs with lighter ones than the 620's. Looking back I can't belive the suspension kit didn't come...

    Recommendations for jumpy suspension?

Couldn't find the spec sheet that he gave me(but it probably was done to '65 spec, not taking into acct the mods), it was a couple years ago, but thanks rbohm for giving me specs that I can take in and ask for. Damn now I'm all excited about the mustang again, i'd kind of forgotten how much fun...

    Recommendations for jumpy suspension?

Thanks for all the feedback, I definitely got some great ideas about where to start, and after reading this post http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=737405 about how their car acted I was definitely seeing the effects of bump steer which has been amplified due to some other worn parts...
