windshild washer sprayer - sprays too far

You have a warped cowl. If you press down on the cowl in between the pass sprayer & the windshield, it'll work perfectly. The only fix is to have the cowl replaced. My Mach has the same problem but it mostly hits the windshield. I have never gotten it fixed cuz I don't want my local Ford...

    Horsepower/Torque Discrepancy!

They really do need to update them. I'm gonna go see if there's some way to contact them.

    Horsepower/Torque Discrepancy!

I also read that article. I was just curious as to why KBB is wrong. I've never actually seen them be off before.

    Horsepower/Torque Discrepancy!

Can anyone clarify the reason for this discrepancy? Please see both links. http://www.edmunds.com/new/2007/ford/shelbygt500/100751535/specs.html This first link is what everyone sas the GT500 actually produces...

Mustangs protecting the streets of Hawaii!

They run 05GT police cars in Lancaster, TX in South Dallas County. They don't have that goofy-looking light attached up top either. They are factory & supersweet. Next time I'm up there, I'll take pics & post them up here.

    racing stories lets hear them

I raced a Supercharged 99-04 GT & beat him through 70mph & then let off. My wife was in the car; she said he wasn't gaining on me.

    Cutting the Springs

Unless I am wrong, there are no dead coils on stock Springs. Now my H&Rs have dead coils. Not even my stock Mach Springs had dead coils. I have some Steeda Sport Springs, which I can't remember whether or not any of their coils are dead.

    Installed my painted chin *pics*

Same bumper. I am also on the general consesus' bandwagon about how you shoulda lined it up on the front. What i don't understand though is in the Machs' bumper is the same & the spoiler is the same, how come my edges line up perfectly all around? It can't just be cuz it's a factory install.

Eibach Pro Kit Springs or Sportline Springs??

I had Sportlines in my 2000 Stang GT & only scraped on 1 speedbump in town. Incidentally, it's the same speed bump that I sometimes scrape my Mach, w/ the H&R SuperSports.

Eibach Pro Kit Springs or Sportline Springs??

I don't know why shops hassle you; you have Plates.

Explain: What is bottoming out exactly?

You mean after you bottom out or what?

Eibach Pro Kit Springs or Sportline Springs??

If I misunderstood you, please correct me but if not, an X pipe does not make Long Tubes hang lower. I have both on my car w/ the Springs in my sig. I will not deny the fact that I do occasionally scrape oversized speed bumps on my Headers though. However, if I am in the car alone, that never...

Explain: What is bottoming out exactly?

So bottoming out can also potentially mean that it is when your shock/strut becomes fully compressed, albeit even for only a brief moment? I thought that the shocks/struts were designed to fully compress; that's why they can be fully compressed.

Eibach Pro Kit Springs or Sportline Springs??

Based on the rim/tire size combo you're referring to, it'd be awful hard for me to steer you towards the Sportlines. I'm afraid you'll have clearance issues. Screw the ProKit too; go w/ the H&R Sport Springs. They are a similar drop to the ProKit & IMO the best brand of spring on the market...

Explain: What is bottoming out exactly?

I've been trying to figure this out for a while. Is bottoming out (1) when something on the bottom of your car (ie. headers, K-member, gas tank, etc) hits the road, (2) when your tires hit your wheel wells or fenders, or is it (3) both?

    Question about bobble while idling.

This is, believe it or not, attributable to your stock cams. They do have a marginally rough idle, especially as the engine ages. Also, it has to do w/ Fords firing order.

    Wierd pulsing/wiggline thing happening

I think your car might be possessed. Mine is lowered w/ H&R SuperSports w/out CC Plates but mine doesn't do all that. My alignment has been off since day 1 but I don't have issues like yours. Merely cutting springs shouldn't cause that proble.

    Stereo Amp Power Draw?

Primarily the system could use a capacitor. Also, with regards with what MyEars eluded to, the remote wire on your deck or amp may not really be tied in to the remote. If it's tied into a continual power line, that means that even when your system appears to be off, it's really on. This will...
