For Sale Whelen Dashmaster Strobe II - Removed from SSP Mustang

For sale is a Whelen Strobe II light that was removed from a 1988 SSP Mustang. It works great and is very bright. It flashes twice followed by a pause. It is configured the way it was removed from the car. First $120 takes it plus shipping.

93 Mustang Parking Brake Handle Removal

I’ve done a few searches and didn’t see anything on it. I’ve got a 93 coupe and would like to remove the plastic handle off the parking brake. The button is rattling at certain RPM’s and is annoying. Anyone know how I can disassemble the plastic handle? Just saw I posted in the 94-95 section...

Post pics of how your foxbody currently sits

It has decent gloss but...fenders don’t match the doors (lighter), a little filler near the taillights (passenger quarter) that is cracking due to a previous dent repair, and there are just more flaws than what I like... and I tend to get bored if I’m not working on something :cautious:

Had it for close to 2 months and have been working some bugs out. Running and driving great currently. New rotors and flow tubes welded in this weekend, gears to follow, heater core, and I’ll paint it next spring.

Can u calculate shipping to 29642? How many pinion splines? Should be 30 from what I’ve found. Any chance u could get a pic of the gears in the box for me? Appreciate it!

Still working on the small stuff, but it's working out well considering I drive the wheels off of it.

    BLOWN UP 2011 5.0

I agree and don't really know the situation, but I would think the tuner would be at fault. Personally, I've dealt with three dyno tuning shops and all three sucked. Good luck.

Dealer says can't use X-plan or AutoNationDirect pricing

Yea, I was told by multiple dealers over the past few years that I couldn't use A-Plan on a Shelby. One dealer said that FMC didn't offer A-Plan (I assume X-Plan too) on the Shelby. I would imagine that would be the same with the Boss.

Bought a New Challenger - Sorry Ford, Rant Included

Completely agree with what you said about my attempts having to do with dealerships rather than Ford. They were definitely dealership/salespeople issues and IMO had nothing to do with FMC. Sorry, didn't mean to indicate otherwise. Same with dealer markup on the GT500's - I always thought that...

Bought a New Challenger - Sorry Ford, Rant Included

Thanks :). It's still early (600 miles), but so I far I love it, and there aren't any regrets. Telling a few select family members about my purchase also went better than expected. Ride is very smooth, seats are great, and there's some sort of leather/vinyl material on most interior surfaces...

    2012 BOSS 302 - It's Here!

I actually like the looks of the 2012 Boss but think the Saleen PJ cars were done better.

Completely agree with you on your points, and they're definitely two totally different types of cars.

Bought a New Challenger - Sorry Ford, Rant Included

Kinda embarrassed, but I haven't hit it yet from a dig. Nothing like roasting a set of Eagle Supercar tires though :D. I will say that it is real torquey down low which really makes it fun to drive.

I only have two pics of the interior thus far. I personally like the dash and HVAC controls, but the window buttons, hood knob, steering radio controls, and steering tilt handle are cheap plastic. Seats seem to be really nice. BTW.. catching on to the ol' 1-4 skipshift or in other words...

Bought a New Challenger - Sorry Ford, Rant Included

Actually, the other three Mustangs I purchased on A-plan were all bought in Michigan. I'm in South Carolina currently, so this could definitely be a factor as buying on A-plan is less common down here.

Thanks :) Actually, seems to get more looks than my '79 T/A - maybe that shouldn't be surprising :)
