My 94 GT just hit 130K miles and it idles like crap. I was looking at salvaged engines or even crate motors. My question is how much drama am I looking at with swapping the stock 5.0 with a 94-95 Cobra motor. Do I need the computer too?... Also, can I do an engine swap with a newer engine...

Maybe someone can help. I have a 94 5.0 convertable that doesn't like to idle. When I got the car, the timing was severely off. I have played with it a bit, but when I time it according to the shop manual, the car won't hold an idle. The only way I can make it run halfway decent is to time...
