    Dumping the Mustang

    lol, you guys are nucking futs :rlaugh:. It is a 1990 coupe, white with 175k still running strong. I had a friend weld the driver seat frame completely but the hinge seems to be loose. So i am rocking the passenger seat and the drivers seat is in the trunk, attempting to fix it though...

    Finally getting another car. Bought a 1997 Jetta VR6 GLX in great condition. So i'm getting rid of the mustang. It got me around when I needed it and got it from my grandfather who put 173,000 miles on it. It's almost at 175,000 now and is in great condition. Anybody around Bergen...

    JUST CURIOUS

    I will have 175,000 by the end of the week. Tranny was rebuilt when my grandfather had it so probably only 15,000 on it. Runs great. :D Knock on Wood

    horn and cruise control arent workin

    Check your fuses, For my 1990 LX it's under the area by the steering wheel it's a little black box. I had the same problem and I just checked all of the fuses to make sure they weren't cracked and sure enough I found one and it was for the horn and the cruise control.

    Hey, I'm starting to get really tired of leaning across my console when i'm driving. I remeber reading a post about taking out the frame in the seat and re-welding it but how do you get to the frame. Also what other car seats could i just swap in from other cars. Thanks

    Hey, Both of my door mirrors are broken due to ice and frustration. I have been unable to find replacements. I just need the mirrors them selves, not the rectangular ones, they are kinda slanted. Anybody know a good place to order from in New Jersey or the surrounding area.
