To match the blue of my Halo lights.
Also I want some brighter low beams but want those to remain clear white beams with no blue tint. So, would the SilverStar Bright Whites suffice for that?
Thanks.
I suppose this could be doing some damage when it happens, right?
Does it make a difference whether I just let it warm up or start driving right away?
And what if heavier weight oil makes it go away?
It fades away slowly after about 1 - 2 minutes. Also gets less noticeable as the idle slows down.
Only about two times after an hour of hard highway driving it made a slight ticking just after exiting the freeway at the stop light that went away within seconds. No other noises since and...
It only occurs when the engine is cold after starting and goes away in a minute or so. The motor was rebuilt about 2 months ago and has about 2k miles on it.

So, is this what I want right here? Is it an exact match for my car, color and fit? Is there anything different about it since it's out of a Mach 1?

I see. I wonder if I could just leave all the dash & stereo stuff the same and relocate my fog light switch to the shifter bezel between the traction control and the cigarette lighter and then just use the single switch on the 01+ center console for the convertible top button.
FYI, the reason...
Oh, but my 99 came with the older style radio slot and dash piece that has no bezel. My rear window defroster button is on the left side of my dash near the headlight knob.
Ok cool, but then where do the convertible top and fog light buttons go?
For the 1999 I have both buttons are in the rear of the console as shown:
But where are they for the 01-04? Looks like it has just one slot.
So I should be able to swap out mine for one from an 03/04 GT? I supposed it would have to be a convertible to work? My 99 has no space for heated seats buttons but that console does on either side of that coin thing that I also would guess can be used for the fog light or convertible top...
ALSO... Where the hell is this Rubber Grommet the instructions mention in Step 9??? No such grommet was included in the package I received from MGW! How vital is this part? This is all starting to really piss me off!
Does the inner rubber boot go over the Shift Stops like shown in this pic?
- If so, won't this disrupt the seal and damage the rubber eventually?
- If not, then how should the rubber be after the stops are installed?
Thanks.
