I paid 29k and change for a "used" 2003 10th ann cobra (it only had 2400 miles on it)... That price is WAY too high.. the stock shifters on the cobra suck big time, so if you liked that, just wait till you try one with a short throw on it... (I went the steeda triax route, and its worth it...)

Hi, trying to work on my wifes 99-v6 mustang.. anyone know where the egr valve is, and if its a repairable part, or if I have to buy a replacement one?? Anyone ever replaced one before, any special tools needed? Thanks in advance :hail2:

Never said there wasn't someone faster, there are many cars faster then mine, never denyied it. I am just saying there is a HUGE difference btwn a v6 with "cobra wana-be" crap on it, and a REAL cobra, thats what I was getting at... sorry for any confusion there :nice:

Fake-snakes are equal to Rice, not worth the time of day... PERIOD. If you are embarassed about what you drive, then don't buy it... but fronting like you have something that you don't (v6 with snakes on it for example) are like those ricers that try to make their honda civics look like a lexus...

Is there a simple way to disable the TC on startup without having to waist $50 on it?? I am in a habit of just turning the key, and reaching for the TC on startup, but it would be nice not having to deal with it... is there a easy wire jumper that can be setup or something like that, that will...

Like I mentioned above, I only use premium myself, but just curruios, where do you find the higher octane racing fuels at?? in my area, all the stations seem to have the normal, with 91 being the std. high octane... are you getting higher with additives, or am I just hitting up the wrong...

I would go with whats recomended or higher... My 03 states clearly that it requires premium, and I woudlnt' risk messing anything up/deteriating performance over saving like 10cents a gal... but hey.. to each their own

was that just the pully being changed? nothing else, and you can "boost the boost"? if so, what size/brand is the best for the mod?

I am with usaa as well, and my wife drives a 99 vs stang (my old one) and I just traded in my 98 wrangler on my 03 cobra... and my monthly ins went up about 60/month (I am 23 btw....)

I think what people are refering to here is about how they are using the mazda plant to build it for quality interior. I remember reading that they are sharing components such as interior fasteners from the mazda 6 and other minor things. Just some little things that make the panels fit...

Thanks for the article.. that has a lot of more "official" sounding information, since they are stating it comming from ford directly. Then only think I am not big on is that they mentioned that ford said that it "should" go 0-60 in 5.5sec?? Shouldn't ford be able to test the 0-60 on the car...
