Shelby has nothing to do with the Ford GT at all... Ford and Saleen Special Vehicles build the car. As for asking 100k over sticker for it, I don't think it is worth it either... Especially when Ford doesn't see any of the 100k, just the dealer. Give it time, I think you will see this...

The one that was at the Auto Show is the same one that will be at SEMA... There will be two at SEMA, one in the Ford display and another in the Pirelli display.

With there production addition in Troy Michigan it allows them to do more then ever before. This gives them the ability to do better production and quality control then in the past. The '05 is an example of this. It will be truly a "factory" car, not just a "tuner" car.
