    05 Mustang GT Engine

More detail please Would you mind going into more detail on just how that helps? You said the extra cam helps, but the 4.6 is still a SOHC. I would understand you responce better if it was a DOHC. Thanks for the help.

Transmissions available for the Vert and other questions

I have heard rumors of a GTR-40, but nothing concrete. Do you have anything concrete that this is going to be produced? Do you have any info on it at all? Let me know.

    05 Mustang GT Engine

I realize that as far as production cost, and ultimately MSRP, that using alot to the 5.4 parts is a huge benefit. My question is what's the drawback? What are we possiably losing in the tradeoff? Just so questions that popped into mind. Still can't wait to get a new '06 Stang.

    Hey guys

I would say keep the '67 and refurb it. You can always get a new style down the road but may never get the chance to own a '67 again. Keep what you have.... I'm convinced thats the smartest choice.

What does everyone want to get?

For those who don't like reading: * '06 Speciality Model such as a BOSS or GT350 (or GT if one's not offered) * Color scheme still hard to call (Dark Gray, Silver, Deep Blue, or Bright Red) - Hoping a Stripes will be offered as factory option in '06. Otherwise, a great paintshop...

    Hey guys

That would be like having twins and only be able to leave the hospital with ONE!!! (Exaggration I know but you get the point). I don't know how I would make that call....Good Luck. Maybe play the lottery LMAO!!!!

    Mustang History

I'm doing some research on the Mustang's heritage. I'm looking for websites that highlight specific makes such as the Boss 302/429, the Mach's, the Shelbys and so on. Whenever I put a search in, I keep getting webpages trying to sell aftermarket parts and such. What I'm looking for are...

    Highway Patrol Mustangs??

I would love to see the HP back in GT's. I think Ford really needs to pursue this market to make this car an OUTSTANDING success story. I hope/think its already going to cause some books to be re-written. Just my 2cents.

    Plans for the '05

Like the way this man thinks!!!! You are more then welcome 00grnsixer, but realize that it is a two-way street. I don't think the average American realizes just how much they contribute to our country's success. It is true that a nation needs to be defended, and we WILL find, capture...

    Photoshop Request pls

Love the idea of the BOSS coming to a dealership near "me". If they do produce it, I wouldn't want a front airdam/spoiler like the one photoshopped. I think it makes it look to BMWish. If it snows where you live, might be a perfect option though.. LMAO!!!!

    Plans for the '05

I'm glad ya'll like my enthusiasm. Being deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, it has just been a way to kill time once in a while, not to mention a stress release by getting my mind off of the daily ops tempo. I agree with first seeing what Ford brings to market. Like most of...

    Plans for the '05

I have been debating on how/IF I would mod my Stang. No before everyone starts jumping in about the whole warrenty issue, thats been thought of and is the EXACT reason IF is in Bold print. I am curious about some ideas and order some others might tweak the new '05, warrenty aside. Here is...

    05 Leather

I'm very disappointed in what I'm reading. I have never owned a vehicle with leather seats and was HIGHLY looking forward to getting the red-accent trim that's going to be offered as an option in the new Stang. Now, I'm not so sure. Could someone post some pics of how there leather has...

Ward's article on 05 Mustang Platform Development

Welcome Tim. As much as I would LOVE to see a Cobra-R in '06, I would rather put a couple years into the S197 chassis and learn it. Then they can have more experiance to work with and make it that much better. Just my opinion. Anything worth having is worth a little waiting for.

    Drove the 05 Yesterday!!!!

Too cool. I too will be driving one once they hit the lots. Wonder if they'll let me have it for one of those 24-hour test drives. Think they will? I myself would have to have the stick, but its great to know that the Auto stays in the powerband nicely. Congrats PACETTR..

Ward's article on 05 Mustang Platform Development

I would love to read the article talking about Ford renewing its "Boss" trademark. The latest I heard was that it was still in the courts. If these are correct, just seeing these varients on the road again will give me more American pride then I might be able to stand. THE MUSCLE CAR...

05 Mustang GT - Dallas Auto Show

All in all... I can't wait to see one in person at get behind the wheel. Was never a bigger fan of the 94's and up. I would definatly agree that Ford seems to have a winner now.

Ward's article on 05 Mustang Platform Development

Not so sure about the V-6 Pony, but the rest of the lineup looks to be right on the mark. They seem very logical to me, just not sure how Ford will market all those varients.

05 Mustang GT - Dallas Auto Show

Great pics man. Seeing the car in person, what would you say are the cars strengths and weaknesses, appearancewise ? According to what people are saying and what I read in MotorTrend and C&D, Fords future is looking brighter then ever. Congradulations Ford Motor Company.

    Worth the Wait...

We are talking about designing the next top Mustang in a new thread I started. It's the "How would you like this job?" thread. Would be really intrested in your ideas and how they compare to my own, along with everybody else's.
