I know that just the bigger rim wont fill the wheel well, but id rather not have a huge sidewall if i stayed w/ 17s. Plus if I want some wider rear tires I have to get wider rims, so I figured some 18s might give it a little diff look. Prolly wouldnt be too noticable.
-anyway thanks for the...
Will having a setup w/ 17" wheels in front and 18" wheels in rear make an 02 stang ride differently?
I was thinking about getting some wider rear wheels and bumping them up to 18" and keeping my stock 17s in the front.
I know some cars are setup like this, and was wondering if this setup...
When you say all around, do you mean windshield too? I'd go no more than 20% all around if you do the windshield. Tinting the windshield (along with the roll downs and rear glass) restricts all light entering your car.
from what i understand, a flash or speed-cal both fix your speed - assuming you have a 5spd. Both seem about the same price. I always thought a flash would be better if you had someone in your area to do it.
I have the supersports with stock shocks/struts. The mustang does bounce more than stock when I hit dips in the road, but it isnt unbearable. Just with the springs, I feel like the handling on curves is much better. I almost bought the tokico blue shock/struts, but I did a road test on my...
The H&R Springs werent taller than the stock ones - I'd say about 1-2" shorter, but I had to pry the stock ones out pretty hard before I installed the H&R's. Your breaker bar might work ok. I tried to use a 3 feet long iron rod (1/2" diameter) and that didnt work. But, everyone has their own...
I went with the H&R Supersports. Installed them last week with a friend. I was really impressed with the drop. I did my research on here as well, and looked at alot of different pics and the H&R drop looked the best IMO. I'm still using the stock shocks/struts and it rides fine. I'm...
Its a 2002 Black GT with black leather, 6 cd mach sound, 5-speed, power everything, 13,500 miles, all for $17,000. Bought from dealership. Was a program car.
Mine is almost the exact same, except 20k mileage. Got it for 15k and still feels new.
