my oil pressure gauge in my 88 coupe is going crazy on me..... it will bounce around.... stays within the safe range but it jumps aound.... i noticed my belt tensioner has alot of slack and is jumping a lil bit... could this cause my oil pressure to jump a lil ? if so i need to change...

will the volvo FMIC fit with the stock 4cyl mustang radiator or do i need to change to the ranger radiator ? also how much of a pressure drop is there with the volvo cooler ? or is there another cooler that has a equal benefit that any of you would reccomend.... that is economical

i think i got a vaccum leak..... motor kinda stubles... idles higher than normal , doesnt get much boost at all...... does that sound like a vaccum leak ? i just did the t-5 swap and i think i hooked everything back up correctly

ok well the car revs just fine.... when you're driving it stubles real bad.... almost no boost at all...it maybe pulls 1 or 2 psi.... then stutters again till i shift :shrug:

ok so when the car gets to like 3000 rpm when it should be going into boost it just kinda stutters....... its a 87coupe w/ 88tc motor la3, just swapped in a t-5 and 2.5 downpipe w/ no cat

ok for a 88tc motor in a mustang , what type of hood will give the best performance with a stock intercooler ? i dont really care for a svo style hood .. how do the cowl hoods and stormin normin hoods work for our setup ?

ok i am fiishing my t-5 swap tommorow...... question is how much of a downpipe do i need " my buddy cut the stock exhaust pipe right before the cat to get the al4d out.... anyhow i was wondering if its safe to drive a short distance with only a short downpipe ? would it be safe ? 3...

ok i have a question i am doing the t-5 swap as we speak , do i get a clutch made for the 87 4cyl or the 88 tc ? i was gonna get a clutch kit from the local AutoZone....... i dont need anythig top of the line right now , later when some of my mods are done i am gonna go with the...

ok i pulled the hose off the top of the fuel regulator and nothing came out ? sooooo any other ideas ? plugs are black and sooty ( rich )

351 times do you have any times with the 351 in it ? so about a 15 second car w/ a stock 2.3t...aint that bad

ooo jump start the car ! go to autozone and they will test the alt and battery for free for you prob just the batt is low

humm so it almost has to be the fuel presure regulator or perhaps ? its gonna need a tune up after having run like that anyway

ok i will check all of those in the morning ! what is the normal casue for black smoke coming from the exhaust ?
