    Tremec TKX 5-spd

So you can confirm you replaced a t5 (or tko) with a TKX and the stock driveshaft fit perfectly? Thank you in advance.

    Tremec TKX 5-spd

https://americanpowertrain.com/the-all-new-tremec-tkx-is-here The last question answered by Matt says it's longer than a t5. I'm not looking to argue, I'm looking to confirm so i don't end up waiting on custom driveshaft. I haven't been able to find the actual length of one.

    Tremec TKX 5-spd

From what I saw, you're going to need a new driveshaft anyways since it's longer than the T5.

    flywheel and pressure plate issues

If it is a stock older flywheel, it takes a 10 inch clutch. If it's an aftermarket new one, it might be drilled for an 11 inch clutch. I'm selling a 28oz billet steel one in the classifieds that accepts a 10.5 or 11 inch clutch. You could have yours drilled to accept a 10.5, but you have to have...

    REBALANCE

If you need one, I could sell you mine, I'm parting out my car and buying a bike, I've had enough of this POS. It has less than 50 miles, Mcleod billet steel, let me know.

Problem , Inquiry about the ECT

Where did you get your new water pump? Maybe they gave you the wrong one, I've seen that a few times.

    Oil Pressure Fluctuates

Mine did the same thing exactly, my main bearings were junk and the crank smoked. I'd get a mechanical guage (twelve bucks for a cheap one) and see what you really have. I'll guess you have a problem though.

Code 181: HISSIN50, I need you in here!

Start with the basics. Check fuel pressure and volume. How's your fuel filter? That code means that the the computer made it as rich as possible, and it still shows lean. I'd take a good look at the o2 sensors as well, since this is where the readings come from, but start with the basics.

How is this carb for my set up now?

I think your 750 will be fine. You've got more cubes and good heads with a massive intake. A 600 would be way to small. Remember, you can jet that 750 down to run good on a Honda civic.

    Roller block,70's crank - Possible?

Is it possible to put a 74 302 crank into an 88 block? I know if it worked it would be 28oz balance and thats great. Also, what do you think about .40 over on a 74 block? Too much? Thanks for the info.

    REBALANCE

It costs a lot to get a re-balance, and good luck finding someone to do it. I have a 28oz billet, that I might trade you or sell, I bought it and used it 5 miles. My "new" motor I got from my "friend" grenaded.

    lontubed with AOD???

Yeah, the bell gets in the way, but even with MAC's, make sure you have a good starter, because after you put those headers on, you won't want to change your starter.

    28oz flywheel?

How can you visually tell what balance a flywheel is? what years if any did they use them in mustangs? I have a flywheel that I put in an 88, and it ruined my main bearings from insane vibration, put a different flywheel in it (known 1990) and it was not only different looking, but of course the...

    BOOM! Bye bye transmission..

If you get a Tremec 3550, you need to slightly modify your crossmember, and get a new bellhousing. Your stock driveshaft will work. I did a swap, and I'm not sure if the stock quadrant I have was junk or it takes a different adjustment, but I had to rig my quadrant to be able to get it in gear...

    Boost with a stock carb????

I saw you sold your setup, is that because it didn't work out well? I see your point about the vacuum secodaries. If you can, I'll take any info you have on it, thanks.
