    fixed a header leak...now i have a problem

    Yea, so I was cleaning out the garage(my chore for tonight), and happened to find the directions....the metal is supposed to go the header!! Lets see if I get lucky, if not, I'll just have to go and do it all over again. Sorry for the misinformation.

    Metal definitly goes against the head, at least thats what the instructions that come with the felpros say. I just installed a new pair of headers last weekend. If you have already done every thing, why don't you just wait and see if they leak? You would have to do everything over anyway...

    Does any egr work with any TB?

    I have a BBK 65mm EGR spacer and was just wondering if it only worked with a BBK 65mm TB or if it would work with any 65MM TB? Thanks in advance for any help you guys can provide.

    Hissing from h-pipe with cats??

    Well, I just installed a high flow h-pipe with cats and now it is making this hissing sound at WOT and under load. It kinda sounds like a fender CAI sucking in air. It is constant and doesn't have a pulsating sound like an exhaust leak. Could this be from the pipe leading to the smog pump...

    180 Thermastat

    I know I could dial the timing back, but it really made a noticable difference(much more than I rember on previous mustangs of mine). I figured i'd try the thermastat first, and as a last resort, dial back the timing. Thanks for all your help guys.

    I have underdrive pullies and the engine starts to heat up when i get on it a lot. I went to my local Pepboys and they said they only has 192 or 160 thermastats. They have a ton of 180 thermastats but said they didn't have one for my car. Any one know the part # or how I could find it out...

    H-Pipe with cats install(did search)

    I tried a search with no luck. When installing, what type of hose can I use to connect the smog pump pipe to the cats? Probably a dumb question but it gets hot down there and just was wondering what could handle the heat.

    1 1/2 or 1 5/8?

    I was wondering if there is a big difference in power between shortie headers? My engine is stoch with the typical mods: CAI, cat back, 75mm MAF, underdrive pullies, and 3.73's. I don't know that it will make that much of a difference. Thanks for any help. :shrug:

    65mph + = bad..why

    It's probably the drive shaft. Hurry up and order one from Summit before July 1, heard the price is going up on the by about $100 after that. Had the same problem on a previous stang and the drive shaft made it drive like a whole different car. It was great! Good luck.
