The SCCA ITB guys are putting out around 150hp in a 2680lb Mustang. They're getting up to 120-130 at the bigger tracks. Those motors can easily be used on the street as they aren't that radical. Also the Esslinger Engineering guys are getting 410+hp out of those motors set up for USAC midgets.

It would help if you gave us a little more insite to the rules restricting engine modifications. Also besides Racer Walsh, check out www.esslingerengineering.com Those guys make some very serious horsepower out of those motors (425+hp on those full blown USAC midget on methonal). Though...

I believe most of your SCCA ITB Mustangs are in the 150hp area. All they can do is air induction, exhaust is free, port match the heads, and shave the head. Of course they swap heads, and cams around from different years and mess around with bottem end tolerances. But it is possible by doing...
