I started out with Magnaflow muffs for the 69 (408, full headers, x pipe) and initially enjoyed them. At high RPM they sounded amazing but around town, only decent for my tastes. I switched back to Flows (already had them on my 5.0 and expedition) and just love the bark. Flowmasters for me.

I think my brother replaced his with a inexpensive stock replacement brand figuring if it wasn't the alt, he wouldn't be out too much scratch. That and he's a bum:rlaugh:

Just an update, we replaced the alt and problem solved! Thanks for the help guys!:nice:

Thanks for the heads up, everyone. I guess we'll start off with the alt since that's the easiest to check then move on to the cam sensor.

P0340 Camshaft Position Sensor circuit fault. My brother's 2002 GT gave him this code and started running crappy. Anyone got any ideas? He's got a cold air intake and a couple of other basic mods but it's been fine until now. Thanks.

I've heard later C4's were stronger than some earlier models but I can't remember what year it starts at. I'm thinking about swapping my C6 for a C4 for weight savings. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks.

Please let us know the outcome. I have a similar problem- replaced all the bulbs, cleaned the contacts, worked great for a few nights then presto, just stopped working again.
