    Anyone with an intercooled Vortech???

I got a Paxton intercooler which is a expensive way to go. People on here can tell you a cheap way to go by getting parts on ebay, but it will probably be more of a hassle. I got my supercharger kit from modular powerhouse and after a year I got their setup for a intercooler. Unfortunately he...

    Vortech or procharger

I don't know about that. I had my vortech without an intercooler first and it was a bummer when it was warm out. I am much happier with an intercooler. More consistent power.

    idle hangs at 1500 rpm?

I already had a supercharger and when I installed a accufab 75mm throttle body I ran into the same problem. Was a PITA for half the summer. I was checking everything. It turned out that the blade in the throttle body was off center letting too much air in. There is two allen wrench bolts on the...

The way my car is tuned, I stop making horsepower at 6000rpm. I guess I should go to 28" tall tires.

question about tire height for drag racing

    Track burnout with 4.10 gears

Does anybody go into 3rd gear for their burnout? I always shift to second in my burnout and could probably easily go to 3rd for a little extra heat up time, but I was wondering if it could be bad to do. I've been to a track a few times and I'm going to go on sunday. It's going to be cold and...

Normal idle for an '04 GT?

Just be patient. Don't mess with anything until you warm it up about 15 times. I was chasing my tail for a while changing my tps postition and all the other stuff people tell you to do, or check, or change. My neighbor told me how gm's and dodge's computer need time to re-learn the idle and that...

Normal idle for an '04 GT?

Since you had the battery disconnected for a while the computer needs to re-learn the proper idle. It should take about 15-20 cold starts to normal operating temperature for it to correct itself. I just went through this after I had the battery disconnected for a few hours to weld in some...

    A couple wideband questions

The AEM wideband kit is $100 dollars cheaper then the autometer. Is the autometer that much better? Also, if you have a wideband is it still really that important to have a fuel pressure gauge on a boosted car seeing how fuel is part of the wideband output? I'm asking this because I am adding...
