The owner may have had cat-less exhaust on then replaced it with one with cats. A car that new shouldn't fail emissions for any other reason that I know of.

So I got a new job on the west coast and I'll be driving the Mustang from New York to California next week. Anyone have any tips for driving across the country or anything in specific I should check out along the way? I'm pretty excited to do an awesome road trip across the US in the 'Stang! :flag:

Definitely sounds different than the old 4.6. Sounds sweet but not as Mustang-y, more like a modern refined high power V8, like what it is :D

I've replaced the headlight switch with a new one and it's still doing this funky high beams stuck on thing. Typically after the car has sat for a few hours and they stay on for a few minutes after it's started up. So now it has a new high beam relay and a new headlight switch. What else is left...

Thanks for the input guys. I won't put different pads on the rear. Now I just have to decide if I want to go OEM on the rears or just get new pads all around. Yup, I have a Subaru for when the weather is crappy. The Mustang is becoming a dedicated nice weather machine :)

Just had my Stang into the dealer for it's 45k mile service and they said I need new tires and rear brake pads. I'm wondering if it I could get some high performance pads like Hawk HPS and run those only on the rear? Would that be detrimental in any way to have OEM pads on the front and high...

$28k for a used 2010 GT seems way too high. I agree with stanmckinney though, pretty sure you can get a brand new one with single or double digit miles for that much, if not less with the 5.0 coming out soon.
