    i didnt install the kit myself,the guy that re-built the tranny did it.1-2 is very soft.3-od is firm.the guy that did the tranny said 1-2 should bark the tires with the clutches he installed.like u said could be a valves not workin right.

    i have a rebuilt AOD trans w/transgo shift kit,2800 stall converter,red clutches.1-2 gear shifts like puss.2-3,3-od is not bad.i think i have the TV cable adjusted right.havent put a press guage on it but i found a good web site that shows the adjustment.Look here the guy that built the trans...

    Need opinions on removing wrench from my engine

    bite the bullitt and pull the pan.pull the upper intake off,yank the motor mounts and jack the motor up.u wont get the pan off all the way but enough where u can move it around and get yer wrench back.i put a new oil pump in that way and it took about 4 hrs or so. good luck.

    damm i know your pain man.i saw a woman in my rear view changing lanes like she was in a sprint car race and she cuts me off when the guy in front of me slows down to get in the left hand turn lane.well at 45mph the brakes on my 88 arnt a good as a new lexus so i rear ended her and the woman...

    go to Auto Zone and buy a code scanner.there cheep and u dont have to monkey around with a test light.easy to use and the book that comes with it is pretty good.

    MAC Control Arms...Cant Find Bushings?????

    Good question,they where greased whenever i changed the oil.They seem to be cheap rubber not poyeurethane.Im gona go with the Steada control arms,they seem to be better anyway.Thanks for your help guys,now if i can only get to the wifes check book....... :banana:

    I have MAC upper& lower conrols arms and need to replace the bushings in the lowers.MAC wont reply to my emails,guess they dont service what they sell.anyone know where i can get bushings????im gettin ready to drive over to Steada and buy there lowers..any help would be great. Thanks

    how did u get screwd over by mass air?????i just upgraded and my cars never run better.i heard that i was gona loose some power but i gained power. nice to have an idle again,i installed a b303 cam before the mass air and what a mistake that was.

    broke screw extractor in a broken bolt

    theres no way your gona drill it out.there very hard steel.your going to need a good punch and beet the crap ota it till it brakes apart.VERY IMPORTANT!!Make shure u have safety glasses on.u dont want that stuff shootin in yer eye.

    i have Mac upper and lower control arms and the bushings are starting to fail. do stock type bushings work or do i have to get them from Mac???? there great control arms but i think the bushings should have lasted longer than 2 yrs.not to say anything bad about Mac but....***cough...cough***i...

    I have a e303 in my 88.dosent idle well all the time but soon to convert to mass air.nice cam under 200bucks at summit.
