347 with Vortech V2 and Holley quick fuel, AFR Renegades a tremec tko 600 advice for newbie pls

My opinion is that everything on that car is so outdated, if you lived in suburban Detroit, you wouldn't be able to find suitable replacement parts if anything goes wrong; much less in the Czech Republic. Kurt

347 with Vortech V2 and Holley quick fuel, AFR Renegades a tremec tko 600 advice for newbie pls

Never seen anything like that in my life. The starter isn't centered in the hole or even close. Kurt

    Upgrading to SN95 steering rack

Those things didn't exist in the 90s when we were lowering cars, and none of us died. Honestly a bump steer kit would be more adjustable and work better. Moving the steering rack North in an already crowded K-member makes the lines that much less accessible. Kurt

    Intake

I'm pretty sure the Holley Systemax 2 is still the best. I have to admit that I bought one 25 years ago and still have it. You will need an elbow to convert it to an SN throttle body, but those are cheap. The key to keeping the stock hood height is actually the valve covers regardless of...

    BBK Long Tube Headers Rusting

Take them off, sand them and derust them. Ceramic coating is the easiest thing I have ever sprayed. Get a bottle of Cerakote on Amazon. Throw the headers on the grill to heat them up before spraying. Hang from a wire, and spray them. You will need an HVLP gun, and spray it at about 20psi...

    SN Mustang Magnum T56 swap

Lol. I have stockholm syndrome from all the MSD boxes I went through. Holley will make a good unit for a few years, and then progressively farm it out to an ever cheaper shop in China. No doubt, they have the tech, the money, and the market share to make it work really well. Five years down...

    SN Mustang Magnum T56 swap

Yes, it is extremely tough to find parts for a car that was only made for 2 years. I have the only Mustang in the World with an 8.8" axle, a 9" axle bearing, a 4 piston caliper, a functioning parking brake, and functioning ABS. It was some madlads fabrication I had to do to make it work...

Who Is Up To Date On DCC Fan Controllers?

I have a PWM out of a Mazda 6 I bought on Amazon for $20. I found the pigtails for it on Amazon for like $8 or something. The Mazda 6 PWM has outputs for 2 fans. Kurt

    SN Mustang Magnum T56 swap

Sorry I haven't been back on the website in awhile. Foxbody headers fit better in an SN95 than SN95 headers do believe it or not. I used Foxbody headers on my car. The only reason there is a specific header for an SN95 is because of that clutch fork clocking. The T56 that came in the...

    Drivetrain TKX Shifter Position Question

Yes, and I had to make an adjustment. There is a video of how to do it on my Magnum install thread that is very good. It has nothing to do with the quality of the bellhousing. The crank line honing process done to the engine can cause the crankshaft to not be exactly centered in the block...

    Drivetrain TKX Shifter Position Question

I had a 3550 in my Mustang. The change in shifter position is not noticeable. The factory shifter on the TKX is a known problem area, so it's best to replace it anyway. The MGW shifter offers a large range of adjustment. Kurt

    Upgrading to SN95 steering rack

Yeah, no kidding. $150 for the steering rack, $390 for the Borgeson steering shaft, and $150 for the Detroit Drift firewall bearing. The rack was the cheap part. Kurt

    Upgrading to SN95 steering rack

This is all crazy talk. I just got a rack from O'Reilly's for like $150 with core exchange. It's a damn steering rack, why would you pay more. Kurt

I think we talked about it already. I yanked my O2 harness, and ran it all via can bus. When ever the instructions had (recommended), that's the way I went.

It's the only emissions control device I want to keep functional, so the car don't stank! According to the conversation I had with Steve directly, the spare on/off output should be either high current output 1 or high current output 3 (pins L and P respectively). I chatgpt'd for whatever...

Correction: According to chatgpt, High Output 3 provides a commanded ground current. Looks like I just have to connect it to the appropriate wire on the ECU harness. Kurt

I agree it makes it easier. Running wires has never been a problem for me, it's trying to configure Tuner Studio based on dubious instructions. I have a question for you. Did you re activate your cannister purge solenoid? Based on what I can tell from the wiring diagram, the cannister purge...
