This just happened to me yesterday. I was driving and the car just died. Had to have it towed to the dealership. They just called and said it was the rollover switch :(. Guess I hit a bump and that set it off. Crazy that a bump will trip a rollover switch.

Sounds like its coming from right under the shifter so I dont think its the rear end. Ive heard a bad rear end, this aint it. :(

I'm getting a kind of "whirring" noise that varies with rpm. Happens in all gears, most noticable in 1st and 2nd. Clutch and tranny both have 73k miles on them, but clutch doesn't slip. Throwout bearing has been a little noisy for a while now.

All I can find around here are ~$100 :(

After I put mine on, we didnt change the alignment at all. Wouldnt have been possible to get to factory specs on the camber, but everything else was still in spec.
