    ramps for oil changing - why? how?

    While we're on this subject, is it okay to use the differential as a jacking point for the floor jack? My owner's manual says not to do this, but I used to do it on my old Fox Mustang with no problems.

    World Challenge Mustang

    Mike Davis ran his new Mustang in this past weekend's World Challenge race at Road America. Car had alot of the usual new car teething problems, but sure looked good. This car has replaced the Saleen SR351 he was running. I don't know anything about the engine though.

    87 octane can only be used?

    5.0 Mustang magazine tested this about a year ago on a bone stock '05 GT. 93 octane gas allowed the computer to advance the timing with the end result being a 5 RWHP increase over running 87 octane gas. Really not worth running 93 octane until needed for that blower,etc.

    Looks nice. Where did you get the rear panel? I like the honeycomb look to it; very similar to the original Mach I rear. Looks better than the glossy ones I have seen on some of the new Mustangs.

    '06 Ride Height

    Is it true that the 2006 GT is one inch higher than the '05 GT? If so, what would be the reason and wouldn't this hurt the handling a bit? The 4 x 4 look is fine for a F150 but not for the Mustang.
