    Hooker Super Comp. 6228 Header

I'm considering purchasing Hooker Super Comp Headers P/N 6228. These have 2" primary's and 3 1/2" collectors. I'm looking for a picture installed on a fox body showing the transmission area. I'm having issues with my BBK 351 swap headers clearing the C4 shifter location with a Cheetah Shifter.

    Quality Nitrous Kit

Cold Fusion is junk. That **** will blow your engine up. However, that doesn't mean you can't use some of the parts off of the kit. Toss the solenoid right in the trash. It's a rebuilt piece of crap. You can keep the bottle as a spare and some of the lines and stuff for later use. This is the...

    Quality Nitrous Kit

I purchased a Cold Fusion wet nitrous kit and been having some problems. The fuel solenoid passed, I got the bottle filled and all the nitrous leaked out the gauge that they provided. I didn't get a chance to try it out. The gauge screws into the side of the bottle valve and it's always got...

MT ET Street Drag Radial sizes

I have done a 1.6 60' and been up to 1.8. I have doing 3500 to 4000 rpm starts with letting the clutch up fast, not dumping. If I get it right the tire hook and I'm off and shift right into 2nd. I have the shift light set at 5200 rpm. I don't look at the tach, but the shift light may come on...

MT ET Street Drag Radial sizes

I'm currently running 275/50R15 on 9" Draglites. They hooked most of the time. I took the spare and jack out of the back and I spun. I wouldn't think that it wouldn't make that much of a difference. The spare and jack are back in. It's time to replace the worn Mickey Thompsons. I was looking...

Braided fuel line routing on 93 LX!

I used a Y block and fed both rails from the back 8AN and out the both the rails from the front 8AN to each side of the Aeromotive regulator and out the bottom of the regulator 6AN back to the tank. That feeds both rails with consistant fuel pressure.

    Exhaust help needed

Got it back together today and ran it. 3" collectors, x pipes and pro dumps. I'm impresssed with the deeper tone. I'm going to see this weekend if it helps with my ET's and trap speeds.

    Exhaust help needed

I ended up cutting 1 1/2" off of the BBK collectors and bought some 3" ball flanges from Summit and cutting a 1 3/4" off of them and wellding them up. I forgot what a pain it is to remove these headers. Steering shaft drivers side and jack up the engine for the passenger side.

What gear do you finish the 1/4 mile in?

I'm finishing at the top end of 4th gear with 3:55 gears and 26" tires I'm shifting with the shift light set at 5500. I'm thinking that I might do better with 3:27 or 3:08 gears. I like to see where others are running and what gear are they finishing in.

    Exhaust help needed

I bought some 3" Pro Dumps and VRS Exhaust 3" X pipes for the BBK headers. The problem is even though the BBK have a 3" collectors it has a 2 1/2" ball joint and the 3" socket joint on the X pipe doesn't match up. I'm think of cutting the ends off of the BBK headers and welding up a 3" ball...

    anybody ever use this?

I run a vortech t trim on a passenger side mount. I have a manual rack and no a/c. I needed something on the driver side for the belt. First I bought the March Performance kit that brings your tensioner over to the driver side. The belt squealed like a pig. I tried different size belts and a new...

Mach one hood with Vortech problems

I had that problem installing my Vortech t trim on the 408W. The hood hit the top of the SC. The engine couldn't go down any lower, the bottom of the oil pan only had a 1/4" clearance for the steering rack. I installed k member spacers and had no other issues. K-Member Spacer Kit, 1/2 thick...

What needs to be welded on the Dr. Gas x pipes? My welds are decent only working on the bench. Position welds are much tougher to do.

351w with a t trim doesnt run right

I'm running a 408W with a t trim, 72 lb injectors. I'm tuning with a Tweecer and a wide band. Even though the 95mm PMAS MAF was setup up for the 72 lb injectors, a small voltage drop with the electric radiator fan starting upset the idle. I tune will be needed to idle correct as well as to...

Will convertible motor mounts hold up

I checked the motor mounts today and the passenger side is already blown. I'm going to buy some solid mounts and alter them if I need to get the engine lower.

Will convertible motor mounts hold up

I just installed a Vortech t trim on my 93 lx with 408W. I been using convertible motor mounts because the oil pan just clears the k member and the 2 1/2" cowl hood just clears the t trim and upper intake. Will the OEM style motor mounts hold up? If not, what heavy duty motor mount would be...
