Okay so I feel pretty stupid asking this question but I wanted to check up on it. I need to get a new head unit for my 2001 GT, and I heard that if you have the Mach sound system in your car and add an aftermarket head unit, for some reason you need a new amp. Is this at all true? Also...

Ok well I'm ordering them now, but will it hurt me to drive the car around for a few more days, and should I make sure not to push it or will that not make a difference? Also, there's a pretty strong ticking sound that seems like it's coming from the manifolds, is this just an exhaust leak...

Well I put on my VRS O/R x and while it sounds great, I've got a few problems. For whatever reason, I cannot for the life of me (neither could any of my friends) attach the front two o2 sensors. I thought that only 2004 models needed o2 extensions up front, or if you got LTs? I've got a 2001...

Sounds awesome! I wish I could hear that in person especially with a couple of revs. ;)

I've got black and have the exact same thing. I thought I read on here a while ago that the spoilers weren't painted very well or something to that extent.

Seems predictable that they would say no, even if a ton of people have had the problem. But it's pretty stand-up of them to send out the new gears for free. I'm still thinking on whether or not I should get a set of Motives for myself though...

i just painted mine on with a brush, not sure with what paint it was something a friend of mine had already bought. just took my time to let it dry, and put on a few coats, and it looks great and is holding up pretty well.

Well I'm definintely itching for an O/R x pipe right now, and I'm a little torn. At first I thought it would be Dr. Gas all the way, but now I'm having second thoughts. I'm sure it would sound great, but it's significantly pricier than the UPR. I also may get LT's some day, so I don't know...

BF Goodrich KDW2s hook really well on dry roads and hold very strong in the rain as well. The tread pattern looks awesome too. :nice: At tirerack I paid $230 for the rears at 295/35/18 and $210 for the fronts at 275/35/18.

Bilsteins, although costly, are very nice. The ride is extremely comfortable and they do come with a lifetime warranty (whatever the hell that does for you anyway).

Can you guys with the bassani catbacks and catted x hear a noticeable difference over just the catback? I just wish I could hear these in person so I could tell just how loud the O/R and catted pipes are.

The ride honestly isn't all that harsh. It's obviously a little stiffer, and you feel the road a bit more, but I think they are very comfortable to ride with. :nice:
