    Thanks Thanks everyone. I found where it is suppose to be, but it is not. I will be doing the vacuum gauge method. I appreciate all the help.

    66' 289 Timing Pointer

    I got a problem. I just picked up a 1966 with a 289. The engine has been rebuilt. I can see the timing marks on the harmonic balancer but I can't see the timing pointer. The water pump port is on the passenger side. Does anyone have a picture of where this point belongs? Thanks.
