    2010 V6 VS 2012 V6 (My impressions)

I just purchased a 2011 V6 for my daughter, I've been driving it and will continue to drive until she finishes driving school. I have to say the car is awesome, the get up and go is awesome, no lag in power. I was considering buying one for myself but I'll end up getting the V8. The mustang has...

After driving the car I keep getting oil on top of the timing cover just in front of the intake. Now ive tried to see if its coming from the intake with no luck. And no i...

Alternative to Max Motorsports K Member???

I have the Granatelli Motor Sports k-member, a-arms, and coil over set up. This set up has been on the car for 7000 miles with no problems. Ive inspected for cracked welds twice and no issues. A lot of people don't like Granatelli products, but I have had no issues. If you look at pictures of...

    Broken Bolt!!! and other problems

I would take it to a machine shop and have it fixes by them. I'm surprised that the machine did not noticed that. When your talking about the polylok do you mean the locking nut in the center of the nut that adjusts the valve. If you are talking that when I did mine I only had 2 to 3 turns on...

    Wide Band vs Narrow Band

The narrow band gauges are junk. The wide band gauge is the way to go. So use the wide band it will be better for tuning. later Orlie

    Canton oil pan fitment

In the other responses they have the 7quart oil pans, but they don't say if they are the kick out style. It sucks to install that oil pan and it does not fit, or you have to modify the stock k-member. So if you can respond with what style oil pan you have. Kick out or not. I need to change...

    Canton oil pan fitment

Is the canton pan a kick out style or the deep style sump. I have the moroso 7 quart deep sump oil pan and it fit perfect with my tubular k-member. If you have to trim the k-member I would buy a different oil pan. Is your k-member tubular. later Orlie

Went to track got a ?

I went to my car and looked at the pill in my shift light and I have a 5.4 pill. I thought it was a 6.0, Im such an idiot. So maybe I was around 5700 going through the trap. Its hard to look at the gauges when your racing. How did you figure out my rpm. later Orlie

    header help...

I tried a set of bbk 86-93 headers and could not get the h pipe to seal on the passanger side header. The flow tech headers (94-95) I had on it sealed just fine. It might of just been my h pipe, but not sure. Good luck later Orlie

Boost question after rebuilt and head work

I have a hard time believing that I could lose 4 pounds of boost on my gauge. I understand what your saying about seeing less boost on the gauge. One thing I did add was a one inche spacer between the intakes. Im thinking that this spacer will add volume to my intake will that contribute to my...

Boost question after rebuilt and head work

Before I rebuilt my engine my boost gauge was reading 12psi. For the rebuild I went 20 over on the cylinders and ported the heads. This is the only change that was done to the engine. I went to the dyno on friday and was watching the boost gauge and I only saw 8lbs of boost. Why do you think...
