    Neither one is better than the other.All a CAI does is clean up the engine compartment.The HP gain from a CAI is so minimal it's not even noticable.

    The pump kicks on. Last thing I did was fill up the tank at BP. But it ran fine afterwards,started up fine last night when I moved it from the street to the drive.

    I never use fram.I use either Wix or Motorcraft FL-1A on the 3.8 and it will be the same on the 5.0

    I think the transmission is the exact same one that goes in the 5.0 and I think the only thing you have to change for it to bolt up is the bellhousing.
