Help...engine coolant leak!

    I have a 3.8 and I have a leak somehwere from mid-engine to the read of the engine...at least that's where I have found most of the coolant.Does anyone klnow where I can find schematics of the cooling system for a 1986 3.8L or proibally any 3.8L?

    if its from the middle of teh motor you should be able to see something, try cleaning it up really good and then let it run and see ifyou can trace it, the coolant leak areas would be the water pump, radiator hoes where they meet the motor/radiator, the top bolt thats in front of the upper intake that you take off the vent air out of the system, and lower intake edges around the front or back of the motor.

    Does it still run/idle smoothly? Check the oil to make sure it isn't contaminated as well. I'd power wash the engine as well before inspecting it like Spector said.
