    2007 Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction

    That'd be a steal these days... :D

    2007 Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction

Hey... I'm a Scottsdale local... went to Barrett-Jackson today and couldn't get all the pictures I wanted because it was a little bit crowded (and at this early stage of my life, I can't get any of the cars I wanted because they're all worth more than I am) but here's a few pictures for your...

    2006 Mustang Order Guide

If you're getting a 300HP car that a lot of Mustang enthusiasts use for straight line tracks, open differentials shouldn't even be available - limited slip should be it and you shouldn't have to pay extra even if it's cheap. Maybe limited slip vs. locking differential as options on the GT, but...

    Intake Opinions

Plastic may not last as long or be as sturdy as metal, but it doesn't absorb and hold heat as easily.

    2006 Mustang Order Guide

Ok, so I'm still learning about differentials... I understand limited slip and the way it functions, but a few questions: 1) If it's now an option on the 2006 GT model, was it the only thing available on the 2005s or was it not on them at all? 2) If it wasn't on the 2005s, what kind of...

Spoiler: To delete or not to delete, that is the question

All just IMO, but the spoiler delete looks better than the stock spoiler. Even better than that is CDC's duck tail with their replacement third brake light, although I'm curious to see what it looks like from the inside of the car. Not to defend wldchic or get in anyone's hair, but the...

    Production of Each Color?

According to that site, "Tungsten" seems to replace Mineral Gray and "Vista Blue" seems to replace Sonic Blue, everything else remaining constant. I had heard that Titanium was going to be a color option, although that may be what Tungsten is, and I'm hoping that the color view options are...

    Windveil Blue Roush

Doesn't the stage 1 also come with exhaust? I know that exhaust on the '05 really only changes the sound and doesn't effect performance, but I thought that came on the stage 1 as well. I used to think those were pretty hideous even though I'm a Roush fan, but they grew on me after seeing a...

    SRT-4 Stage 2

:rlaugh: I swear, that's the only car I know of that has power front windows but crank rear windows. wtf, Dodge? :rlaugh:

How much have have you endured?

That's a sad, pathetic excuse. A growing number of "Japanese" cars are assembled, manufactured, or both right here in the US. First year, all new model, new assembly plant, etc., but Ford can do better. Every year, more and more "foreign" cars are being built here in the US, which allows...

    87 or 93 Octane

Higher octane is useless without having your vehicle tuned. Enjoy the lower gas prices.

    Insurance troubles...

Try USAA, although I think you have to have an immediate family member or yourself currently or formerly in the military. I got almost $600 knocked off my 6 month bill recently because insurance costs went down in Texas (now I pay $200 or so a month, but I'm still one year under the 25 mark and...

    GT on used car lot

Someone in Dallas somehow won a redfire GT from one dealership and then traded it in on a Ranger at another dealership. I'd rather do that the other way around, but... well, I hope he likes his Ranger.

    2005 Dale Jarrett Mustang

The 300hp number is measured at the flywheel, whereas some amount of power is lost between the flywheel and the rear wheels. When measured at the wheels, the dealership's numbers are close to what a stock GT would produce.

Those are two pretty sorry cars to race. At least Darwin worked out for them instead of innocent people.

    OH Hail !!!!!

Keep in mind that the advertised do-it-yourself paintless dent removal products aren't nearly as good as the tools and the people who do paintless dent removal every day.

    First Performance Mod

Isn't buying a gas guzzling V8 and then trying to be concerned with environmental issues a little hypocritical? I say a few extra hydrocarbons escaping - oh well - they're balanced out by the neighbor's new hybrid :p

    2005 Roush looking MUCH better!!!

That's way too much money for what pretty much amounts to a body kit, new exhaust, badging and stickers. It does look waaaay better than the SEMA stage 3 prototype with the painted grille and side mirrors, though. I'm wondering if they left those wierd pockets in the rear fascia?

Photochop I did. (next Cobra/Boss daydreaming)

There are some significant body differences in the front end between the concept Mustangs we saw in magazines and at car shows (and which that photoshop is based on) and the production model (beyond fascias & headlights) - the V6 engine actually forced the hood line to be raised. I'm not...

    Saleen has all the GT's

Roush's old body kit looked so good... why did they have to make it so ugly for the S197s? Actually, I don't think either one is attractive, but the Saleen is the lesser of two evils.
