Yes they fit, I had my friends kids in mine the other week. The only problem depends on how big the kid is and how tall you are. There isnt much room for their legs if you have the seat back far, I had to move it up a but so I didnt crush his legs.

The other addition besides the cai is that the 2010s have knock sensors and individual timing per cylinder in their tunes so that allows much more of an agressive tune while still staying safe.

As per sources on another forum the issue with the air bag cover has been resolved and the cars that were held up are beginning to ship :D

Yes Ford uses 6x8's not 6x9's. As far as a sub I dont think there is anything that is a direct plug in. Your going to have to get a signal from the rear speakers and run a power wire for the amplifier from your battery.

I too have a GT500 on order, with the HID's. Mine has been built since May 7th and is only beig held up due to the air bag cover

HID's were originally delayed back in Feb/Mar but have since come off hold.

All the speakers should still be 6x8's all around. As far as subs do you want to replace the 8"s in the doors or are you looking to add an aftermarket sub?

I might just have to buy the old ones an mod them to fit. Not to be cheap but I cant justify $420 for a pair of muffler deletes, I know its a new model run but when the 05-09 can be had for $220 on some sites I dont see where the extra $200 is justified.

I would check with another dealer, they have been able to order for months now.

He said they are planning on making them for the 2010's but it will probably take awhile to engineer and re-tool their equipment. I know im buying a set the minute they become available.

The GT500s have been held up for a month now, but according to sources they are going to resume production the first week of May. There have been some built but havnt been released from the factory, possibly due to quality checks or an issue with them.

The 2010 quarter windows have changed. I contacted silverhorse racing because I wanted their louvers for my GT500 when it comes in, but I was told that they are slightly different. I had them on my 05 GT and loved em.

Only the fronts are 255, the rears are 285's.

No markups as long as you find a good dealer, as in my case. I got mine at msrp. I wouldnt pay a penny over msrp as there is no reason too.

Ford moved the cobra on the grill because the intake is on the drivers side for this year and the opening is right where the old cobra use to be. On that kona color its killing me, I ordered a grabber blue gt500 but am having serious issues with wanting to change it to that color..ughh.

As far as I know its still the same engine for 2010 but beyond that is anyones guess.

How come during the unveiling the guy doing the reporting said that ford would not allow any engine shots of the new GT500? Has something changed that they are holding back?

Well your not going to get 5-600 hp at the wheels without a complete rebuild of your block and without running boost higher then at least 12psi. I have the kenne bell on my car as a daily driver and I get about 420 to the wheels which is just about how much you would want to put on stock...
