are you sure that the drums are were turned perfectly? did you double check with one of those uhh...micrometer dealies...?

slightly noticable.....and the paint you can get from kragen or autozone.....its a little green can with a black top called ummmm......i forget but its the vinyl and fabric paint.....has a little picture of some seats on the front of it....thats what i used to paint the back tail panel and...

umm....hes right.....i saved mine from pushing me to the brink of suicide with a little rust converter and some kind of paint my neighbor gave me......it wasnt too bad to begin with....but in a couple years i wouldve went crazy cause it aint all to easy to get at ours..... :rolleyes:

the thermostats are always marked when you buy em......and i always get the 180 degree one......an old timer explained to me why I should always get the 180 one out here in CA, but to be honest i forgot why....lol....but at least i remember that much, which is what counts.....

it's not that hard to do yourself, even if youre a mediocre welder....but if your not that comfortable doing it, be prepared to pay plenty, well in my experiences..........

if you think it wont hold then drill some more holes and mount it up......

maybe on your exhaust stroke not all the gases are being expelled as they should be......and it builds up to the point where every couple of minutes it finally reaches the point where it builds up enough excess to expel itself......its a wild idea i know, but this brings back memories of my...

well then again whats the condition of all the interior parts, hood, etc.....cause i saw a 71 mach 1 smashed all to hell and gone out here at mustang village in fontana, i mean it looked like it got creamed by a dozen 18 wheelers on the driver side, the engine was shot, i mean in my opinion...

i was talking about the switch in the column, that screwed me once.....it wouldnt turn over...... and well i had to replace the switch anyways cause the lights didnt work it and kablam wouldnt you know it, once i changed that out it fired right up.....dont ask why or how cause i dont know, it...

ok then check the shock mounts and the shock itself.....that's about all i know of that will cause wheel hop....

why not just keep the 302? I did so people wouldnt confuse it with a mach....its a true fastback with a 302 in it.....just mod the hell out of it when you get the time....well that's what im gonna do, only cause my buddy showed me that it can be done.....well thats my opinion :rolleyes:

would the cam switch have anything to do with it?......anybody have some input on this one? :shrug:

check the leaf springs.....i see it every day, the shackles bust apart, but you still seem on the road.....thats my guess anyways....

of course, most "non-enthusiasts" are after the flash of the car.....thats the way the world works.....so unless you find some car nut who just really wants that year, model etc.... no matter how it looks and who would buy it, as is, for a good price.........i say get it painted and good luck...
