I have the Ford Brace on order. From what I understand, the Brace that has been seen on this and other sites is not the same as the Brace in the wherehouse so they are not releasing them. (This is from a Ford Co. Rep.)

I ordered it November 18th.

Just got off the phone with my contact at the Dealership and I got my VIN #!! He said it should arrive on the 15th of January!! He also told me that I am lucky because I got one of the last cars with the IUP option, he said Ford is discontinuing it!!

Was seriously considering adding Boss stripes.... And I am really glad that I got to see these pictures because now I know that there is no way I am going to do it now. I don't like the look. I will be going over the top with my stripes; if I ever get my car. :shrug: Ordered 11/18/2004

GT's are scarce here in Central CA I have noticed here in Central California that there are a lot more V6's for sale than GT's, in fact, the GT's are scarce. I have been doing extensive inventory searches on Fords web site for all dealers from Sacramento, San Francisco to Fresno and the ratio...

Yes, I ordered it with IUP. :shrug: Don't know what could be keeping your order. I also talked with a friend of mine who works for Ford and she said that the Mustang plant is not opperating 24/7 to produce the Mustangs just like Ford did with the Thunderbird, to keep stock low and demand high...

I got a call from the dealer today and he said Ford pulled my order and that I should have my new GT by the middle of January. I ordered it at the Dealer on November 18th!!! Best X-mas present ever? I THINK SO!!!! :D

So, the dealer is charged $545 dollars and they want to sell it to you for $1,200? Thats a mark-up of $655! They were try to rip-you-off!! NOT COOL.
