Mine had an awful odor until it reached about 300 miles or so. No need to be concerned, it's normal.

I chose Torch because I felt that it made the car sort of 'come alive' even when sitting still. I intend to add some aftermarket wheels and tint the windows, so either of those changes will be complimented by a bright color. No plans to make a clone of the classics, so Redfire didn't fit into...

I've spoken to quite a few females about my '05 (gf, female friends, friends' wives, etc). After showing them a brochure, they overwhelmingly chose Windveil Blue as their favorite color. Not saying it's a feminine color, just relaying my experiences...

Mine was built the week of Nov 8th and the last numbers are 12xxxx, so I don't think your '11' implies that it was built in November. I noticed that the four digits preceding the last 8 digits have varied between simularly-equiped GTs: some are H255xxxxxx, H555xxxxxx, or (like mine)...

Agreed, that's something to be concerned with (especially for those of us with the Shaker 1000). 2005RedGT posted on another forum that it's had no detrimental effect on the electrical system thus far (and he also has the 1000), so keeping fingers crossed. I'd like to get these pulleys...

Yes, we realize that difference. The part in question is Ford's claim that the 1000 system contains 9 'audiophile' speakers, whereas they don't say that term in the advertisement for the 500 system. I was hoping to see more for my $1200 than trunk subs and 2 amps :nonono:

Well, just got back from the dealer. The results of the code check turned out to be something a bit more complicated than an O2 sensor. What they found was that the ECU detected a misfire (during deceleration) of coil packs 'B' & 'D'. The tech consulted with Ford engineering and concluded...

Yeah, I'm extremely nervous about the first two. The Shaker 1000 was an expensive option (one I chose reluctantly because of the $$, now may regret if problems arise) and a tranny issue would keep the car in the shop for weeks :(

The light came on after turning over to about 200 miles. Took it to the Ford dealer who thought perhaps I'd left the gas cap loose, but we checked and that's not the case. He said to come back if it didn't go off after 45 miles; it didn't. Got an appointment with the service dept tomorrow...
