Car was and is clean under the hood. Orly issue was surface rust on the rear axle and side mounts. Nice cleaning and some semi-gloss Rustolium problem solved.

Froridabob, i think the rear vent idea is good. Lets see if the after market comes up with something that doesn't look cheesy. The air at high speeds needs a way to get from under the hood, and rear vents in that black plastic area would work. Start marketing................. :D

I have the Redline Tuning hood struts and the hood still shakes at 75-80mph. I witnessed the hood shack yesterday on my first road trip down I95. Of course the wind was blowing 30+ mph so this may have helped with the hood shake. Coming back same cruise speed on I95 with the wind was behind me...

I installed the strut tower covers from UPR Products a few months ago. Actually I was the first one to order them, they sent me a note with the package. They are polished aluminum and look real nice.
