I have a 97 GT convertible that the ECM got wet in and now the car won't start. Can I swap with any ECM or do I need one programmed to match my VIN so the security chip in the key will work? It's a 4.6 and the original ECM got wet as well, it seems like there might be a cover missing or something.

My 97 GT has an overdrive switch on the shifter (it's an automatic) but it doesn't seem to work. The car is always in overdrive but there are times I need it out of overdrive. Is there a wire that goes to that switch, or might it be a bad switch? If so, how hard is it to change?

This is the plug I took out after about 1500 or so miles. Do they look OK? I have a S/C so I replaced them with one range colder plugs over this stock one.

A mouse chewed part of the the wires that run behind the motor toward the front of the car, it looks like they power the injectors. The chewed the metal shielding as well. Is that something I can splice or should I just get a new part from the dealership? Looking for suggestions. (other than...

I need to know what plugs & gap I need to be running on a '97 Saleen with an aftermarket SVO blower running either 6 or 8 lbs of boost. I was told I need a nonprojected plug gapped at .030 to help stop detonation. An Autolite 3935 was suggested.

The wheels look similar to the ones on my '97 Saleen , although you guys know more on the details than I do about what car should have what items. A 6 speed transmission too. My '97 is that color blue with a white convertible top, with the silver stripes it's a great combination.

I hope it was just bad luck, I have run over both a screw driver (with week old tires) that went through the sidewall, and a automotive starter bolt through the sidewall on my work vehicle. So who's driving around with their starter hanging by the wires?!?!?!

How did you get the holes in the carpet where the pins hold the kick panels in place? I couldn't get them lined up quite right.
