I've been trying for the past couple of weeks to access their website, but it's been down. However I found out where they hold their meetings, and I scheduled time off from work so I could attend this Friday. Hopefully I can find some kind soul(s) there who will help me out. Suki thanks for...

Getting Married - Need Help - San Jose, CA

She actually bought me a 67' Coupe which I'm doing ground up restoration on however there's very little chance of it being completed before the wedding. Unless I want to drop 10k real fast. I don't think she'd appreciate that though. Funny story about the car is that she bought it on ebay...

Getting Married on April 26, 2008 in San Jose - Looking for a 65-69 Vert for Pictures

Hi All, I first posted this query in the Classic Talk section, and StangDreamin' was kind enough to direct me over here to help me hit my target audience better. My fiancee and I are getting married on April 26th, 2008 in San Jose, CA. Originally we had planned to have 4 or 5 classic mustangs...

Getting Married - Need Help - San Jose, CA

Thanks for the advice StangDreamin', and the support Chepsk8. I'll try posting in the West Coast discussion area, and we'll see if that helps. I'll keep the 69' vert in mind, if I'm unsuccessful in finding a Mustang I believe she might settle for that as she really wants pictures with a...

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the quick replies.

Cobra Disc Brakes on 67 Coupe

I agree there are some good arguments for a removeable carrier type however I think that a 0 mile rebuild of a 8.8" rear for $100 is hard to pass up. Especially since I wanted to upgrade to disc brakes because my drums are toast, and this will make the consumable easier to acquire when it comes...

Cobra Disc Brakes on 67 Coupe

That's the first i've heard about having to get new ubolts or spring plates. I'm not to familar with welding, so I was going to take it into a shop to have it done. I live about a hour away from Mustangs Plus, so any parts I need i'll be getting from them. As it seems i'm missing some parts...

Cobra Disc Brakes on 67 Coupe

I was told that the fox rears were the same length as 65-66 Mustangs and SN95 rears were the same length as 67-68 Mustangs. Atleast that seemed to be the consensus in the archives of this forum.

Cobra Disc Brakes on 67 Coupe

Hey all, I have a 1967 Mustang Coupe. I am planning on buying the "caliper mounting brackets" from Mustang Steve to upgrade to disc brakes in the front. I also recently bought a 95' GT Mustang 8.8" rear end as I was told that it fits perfectly under the 1967 coupe, and I just need to have...

    The SN65 project car

SN65- At first I thought you were anti-headers, but now I understand your reasoning behind it especially with the clearance issuses. Thanks for taking the time to clarify things. Keep up the great work.

    67 V8 Coupe Drum/Disc brakes

Thanks for all the help guys. Guess i'll be sinking some bucks into one of the kits. I figured it wasn't going to be that easy or else everyone would be doing it. Thanks again.

    67 V8 Coupe Drum/Disc brakes

Hey all, Probably a stupid question but someones got to ask it. I was told that the spindles for drum brakes and disc brakes on a 67 coupe are the same. So I was wondering why I couldn't buy a master disc brake rebuild kit and just install it instead of having to buy a whole SSBC, Baer, or...

    The SN65 project car

Hi SN65, I read above about your keeping the manifolds and not liking headers. I was curious as to your reasons for not liking headers besides them not always fitting the combinations they're supposed to. To me it seems that if you are going to be showing this car at all, people are going to...
