My tuning is just from experience and playing with the tuner. The instruction sheet that comes with the C&L pipe says to remove 20% timing in the low and high timing ranges in the global spark adjustment page. I did this and the car ran poorly so I started playing with the tuner until it felt right.

I just installed a c&l cai with the Diablo c&l 93 calibration. I set global spark to -3 and set the 5000-7000 rpm to -7.5% as I am only running 87 octane. I have not noticed any spark knock and the throttle response and drivability is great.

Carbon trap Yeah, all Mustangs built after 4-4-05 no longer have the carbon trap. Noticed mine was not installed when I got the car, so I called Ford's tech hotline. Ford found that "it saved 1lb and added 5hp" as per the engineer's response.

Yeah there might be a reason for the function to have been cancelled. Will call Ford's tech hotline and see if they can give me some insight why this was done. It may be due to a RF interference problem rolling the windows up/down by accident. If this is the case, might be better to leave it alone.
