    08 Bullitt or 08GT

discount plans I think each dealer gets to make the call. A good friend of mine, who works for Ford, just picked up a Bullitt that he purchased on the employee (I think it's A?) discount plan. The dealer was asking sticker, he asked about A plan, they said ok, he put down his deposit and...

    2008 options

2008 order guides? I thought I read that the 2008 order bank opened yesterday, 4/16/07. Has anyone heard anything about the availability of 2008 order guides? I checked a couple of boards and couldn't find any updates. Thanks, Hadda70Mach1

    current Mustang GT pricing

I understand the benefits of an automatic, but for me it's gotta be a 5-speed. I'll just try not to miss third too often!

    current Mustang GT pricing

Thanks Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it. Sounds like the nearly $5k off is a darned good deal. I'd be looking hard at one of those cars if they were 5-speeds. Still, I guess I can mention to my dealer that I saw the discount at another dealer and see what he has to say. It's nice...

    current Mustang GT pricing

I thought maybe some of you could help me out. I've been thinking about buying a 5-speed Mustang GT for a long time now. I can get it on X-plan, which I understand has a certain formula that gets you down around invoice price. That would save me maybe $2,000 or so. I know there is some...

    X plan and cash back

much obliged Geez, I didn't really need the temptation of maybe saving a grand, but thanks!

    X plan and cash back

Can you purchase a Mustang on the X plan and also get the cash back that Ford is offering? I realize the X plan is a pretty good deal, but if the cash back comes straight from Ford I thought you might be able to do both. I've been admiring the new Mustang for a long time, and an extra grand is...

    Wait for '07?

Hello Mustang Fans, I've been waffling forever on whether to buy a new Mustang GT. It's not the most practical car around, if you know what I mean! But the sun is shining here in northeast Ohio and I feel the need for some horsepower (sorry about the pun) under my right foot. I'm pretty...

    November 2005 Mustang Sales Decrease

dyoct Dyoct, Sorry for the delayed response, I've been out of town. I'm in northeast Ohio. As you suggested, I was surprised my local dealer didn't find a Mustang GT for me to drive. My experience in sales has been that you do what you have to do. I see on the Ford site my local dealer...

    November 2005 Mustang Sales Decrease

Mustang Woes I guess the good news for me is that my local dealer will accept X plan on a Mustang GT. They told me this over a year ago. The bad news is that they have not had a Mustang GT available to test drive in well over a year, and they don't know when they will. Until recently...

    November 2005 Mustang Sales Decrease

Incentives? I do not believe there are incentives on Mustangs. According to Ford's website, there are not. I suspect the salesman who called Klay was bluffing a bit to try to get him to come into the dealership. I do see a few GT's creeping onto the lots here in northeast Ohio, so I...

    November 2005 Mustang Sales Decrease

Be it because of CAFE standards or something else, it's unfortunate for Ford - and those of us interested in buying a Mustang GT - that they are able to produce so few GT's. And of those produced, such a small percentage seem to have the MT that it's a sin! You would think that between the...

    November 2005 Mustang Sales Decrease

Betterdan is right Betterdan is right, the holidays - and winter - come at the same time each year. They do not explain the sales decline when you are comparing November this year to November last year.

    November 2005 Mustang Sales Decrease

I just read that Mustang sales were 11,000 in November 2005 versus 12,800 in November 2004 - a 14% decline. This is, I keep hearing, a hot car? What gives? I'm pulling for Ford and all the "domestic" brands, but Ford doesn't seem to be making the type of Mustang that is most in demand...

4th month in a row of lackluster Mustang sales

Availability I'm in the same boat as 1200Bruce: I visited my dealer in the spring, expressed my interest in a Mustang GT with manual transmission. They of course had NO GT's. I've been back a few times to speak to the same salesman. They have no GT's that aren't bought, so no car I can test...

New stangs still hard to find?

Two dealers near me: one has three V6's and no GT's, the other has about 15 V6's and a GT with a Roush package. I have seen the occasional GT pop up on local dealer inventories, but they are still few and far between here in northeaset Ohio. I expect they will become more common as...

    2006 order info

My dealer said I could not order an '06, and would have to order an '05 that would roll over into an order for an '06. He said he thought that was because they didn't want to put the new '06 orders in front of the rolled-over '05 orders. I guess that makes sense. Anyone know differently?
