    sorry for the confusion, the timing is set to 13 degrees Before top dead center (advance), sorry about that my dad confused me when he was talking about stock timing and stuff :doh: oh well, my fault, i hope this clears stuff up a bit...lol.

    i was just wondering what a good base timing for my new setup would be. most of the details of my car are in my sig, my dad set the timing to 3 degrees advance, which is 13 degrees over the base of 10 degrees back.     Fuel Pump Relay

    There is no fuel pump relay underneath my driver seat, i have started the car a few times and think i have located it near the intake tubing, there are two black relays underneath my intake pipe that click when i turn the ignition on. Could one of these possibly the fuel pump relay?

    you said you jsut bought the car a few weeks ago, did you by chance put fuel injector cleaner in it? i had the exact same problem, and it turned out the fuel system cleaner was still in the gas and it kills your emissions. I was lucky and passed by just a bit.
